Dear friends,

My name is Bryan Minor, I am the youngest of my fathers two sons. It is with a great deal of sadness and regret that I have found my way onto my fathers blog to post what will be "One Conservative Estimates" final post.

Today, 11-30-2010 at around 12pm my father passed away. He left behind his beautiful wife of 42 years, two sons, two daughter-in-laws, 5 grandchildren and more memories than can be imagined.

Dad is a wonderful man. Strong, courageous and full of love. He served his country in the US Navy, honored God with his life and lips, and loved his family both in word and deed. He was a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Though I will always remember him as Dad and am so proud of who he was/and is now with God in Heaven.

Dad always fought for what he believed in. He'd ask you to do the same.

America is Dying. Won't Someone Save Her? Please!

According to the TSA, Obama, and Big Sis there isn’t any better way to handle airport security than the current methods employed. Sadly many Americans have come to agree with them. Statements of “They have to scan us and pat us down to keep us safe are common”. It amazes me how quickly and easily a people will give up their freedoms and liberties. If I would have told any of you 10 years ago that strangers would fondle your genitalia looking for “whatever” you’d have said I was insane. If they would have told me how easily Americans would submit I would have called them insane. Now, because I think they have gone to fare there are those that think that I am insane. Well let me remain insane but let me do so without the government seeing me naked or touching my junk.

How is it that a people who can find their way to the moon and back, who can find cures for all sorts of ailments cannot find a way to sort out evil entering our country? Well we can. We have been told that it must be done under the TSA or Napolitano’s rules. It must be politically correct and offend no foreigner. It can offend and degrade every American just no foreigners. Excuse me. This is my country and I will fight for my liberty as long as I am able. The 4th Amendment of the Constitution guarantees me:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated; and no Warrants shall issue but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized

.

My government doesn’t currently think much of my rights. One might argue that this government is not really my government, not the one that bids loyalty to the Constitution of These United States. I propose that they are but a shadow of the real thing with intent and purpose to subordinate me to comply with their wishes. Not as long as I breathe. I am not alone in this nor do I see this deceptive ploy of “protecting me” as legitimate. Will it be legitimate when they employ these same rules on shoppers in a mall or those strolling down the streets? Is it such a far leap to go from groping granny in the airport to scanning children entering schools? Surely there is danger in the schools, and in the streets and everywhere. Will you think it okay when they call you from your home or job and ask you to comply with their harmless scans? What will you say when they determine that these scanners will make subways safer? Will you still see nothing wrong with their intentions?

America I implore you to realize that in just a few weeks the government went from having their hands in your pockets to in your pants. There is little that can stop them but you. I do not have all of the ways that they could prevent terror to arrive on our shores. I do know a ruse when I see it.

Slippery Slope or Who the Hell Greased the Slide?

When airport screening for terrorists offends and alienates American citizens it is time to rethink procedures. I surely agree that we need security. What the government is doing now is not giving us that security. Yes they are groping nuns and little children. What will be next: cavity searches? Notice what happens if you refuse to be groped or scanned; you are subject to civil prosecution and fines up to $10,000.00 dollars. Excuse me? Big Sis says it’s okay though and that the body scans are safe. Thank you big sis.

Meanwhile, millions of illegals from every nation on earth are streaming across our borders. Some carry weapons, drugs, water, or clothing. Regardless they all pass unchecked. These people are not all Mexicans. They come from every nation under heaven and include some of the most violent people on earth. We know that Muslim extremists congregate at our southern border but your granny is in her stocking feet in the airport. The government that is restricting you freedoms in airports is granting them to those who sneak into our country illegally; even with their blessing it would appear. For some reason this just doesn’t seem about safety anymore.

Something else that bothers me is the slippery slope that our liberties are undergoing. Right now body scanners and pat downs are in airports. How long before they decide they belong elsewhere: train stations, bus stations, and random stops and anywhere else they think they need to put them. Who is to stop them? You? I don’t think so. As it is now they do as they wish no matter what you think. As I understand it, TSA has portable scanning equipment ready to deploy at will.

While there is no question that we all desire airport security; it seems that this may not be about security. Surely there are many things that can be done that don’t involve invading our personal space. I realize for every argument against these tactics can bring an equally strong argument in favor of them. As for me, my flying days are over until this issue gets resolved. I don’t think I am alone in that. And yes I do have something to hide: my naked body. I wear clothes for a reason and my modesty is not false. I would just as soon strip naked in the line and lift up my own junk as to have someone staring at me through some machine or touching me.

Now it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to speculate what might be next: body cavity searches. Logically it follows. Soon we will all be like prisoners in our own country, subject to random searches and scans because a government bureaucracy thinks it has the right to. When I think back of government absurdities throughout history they always started within reasonableness and became progressively extreme as the people became tolerant.

This issue will not be resolved here and maybe not even soon. I guess the good news is that the program must be working as we have not found explosive on a single person using our current strategies.

Dawg Bites You Once; Get A New Dawg

If you listen to the News you can smell the Dawg Sh_t every time Barry takes the Microphone. BHO’s less than humble address regarding an election landslide is no exception. Da man juss talks on and on with commas, every three to four words, timed perfectly, for the teleprompters, on each side of the podium. Each sentence ends with a slightly elevated tone! As if to excite us, rather than, to lull us into a comatose mass. (I love it when people call him a great speaker. It is like saying the baby’s dress is cute because you don’t want to say, "That it is an ugly baby.") Obama is no speaker and will never be a statesman.

Anyway, today the message was about the trouncing yesterday. Come on Dawg! You didn’t have to take responsibility for not explaining stuff good enough for us folks. We just stupid and you is so smart! Of course we get’s some mad when we think you are doing us dirty. Thanks Dawg for breakin’ it down for us today. Now we ain’t mad no mores.

I would just once love to have a public conversation with Barry, with witnesses, where he wasn’t allowed to throw temper tantrums or ramble on. If he ever said anything truly nice about someone you know you’d scratch your head. I wouldn’t let him blame anyone and I would eliminate the words Bush, Republicans, Tea Baggers, Inherited, Other Side of the Aisle, and any whiny words from the conversation. Just once I would love to hear him speak like a responsible adult. But he is Dawg, or Harvard, and sometimes even Reverend, and he is always blaming and condescending. I am thinking that he will be sounding Indian in just a few moments now.

In case you couldn’t tell that was my best East Indian accent. You see Dawg is in his Mumbai digs (over 800 rooms in 2 hotels) with most of his staff, a whole fleet of 34 US Navy ships including Nuclear capability, extra secret service and security forces at a cost of more than $200,000.000.00 per day. Me thinks Dawg didn’t get the message that was sent via the voters. Me thinks Dawg is deaf to the voters. Me thinks also, “Dawg, if it is so dangerous perhaps you shouldn’t go to Mumbai.” Well I guess he needs to have a good time, on our dime, while there's time.

All this adds up to is that if you are expecting something new and refreshing from B. Hussein O.; your hope will need to be on life support. Barry has 40 some years of becoming who he is. When your gut tells you that he is a leftist, socialist, racist: don’t try to reason it out. Listen to your heart. The man was schooled in 2 religions that both believe that Christianity is a tool of the devil. Yes that’s right. One of them even positions itself as a Christian church. People chose not to believe that when he ran for President and now that he is president they refuse take another look. I don’t make this stuff up.

So the next time you have a question for Barry, may I suggest “Wuddup dawg?” ‘cause he sure don’t respond to Dear Mr. President…

When Insult becomes Injury.

Obama seeks to Destroy Americas Economy. Takes trip and 3000 people with him at a budget of $200 million per day. He has booked all 570 rooms and 2 other hotels.

This is news. No one is talking about it but this is BIG NEWS. Barack Obama feels that this is somehow appropriate to take a trip with this kind of price tag during this economy. This kind of recklessness is not only misguided it is purely vicious. We knew that the man had no experience when he was elected and to date that has been woefully obvious. In addition, it has become so obvious that Obama disrespects this nation and her people to the point that his removal should from office should be initiated.

While it is true that he has had this trip planned for sometime it is also true that our economy has been in shambles for that entire time regardless of his rants otherwise. Americans are standing up to this man and his evil mission like never in the history of America. Barack has forced us to rise up to his destructive ways. We need also rise up to put an end to his extravagant lifestyles of the rich and famous and put him out of the Whitehouse.

Obama's Enemy Revealed: The American People

For the longest time now American’s have felt that there was just something “odd” about the way Obama treats our nation. Well, in a recent statement he cleared up his thinking by telling Latinos to “punish their enemies” when speaking of the upcoming elections. Not opposition but enemies. Not the other side but enemies. Not people who see it differently but enemies. Enemies!?! If you have been paying attention to BHO politics you had to notice that there was something about the way he perceives people. While he may lump Americans into many categories he clearly looks at the people as either “friends or ENEMIES”. This could explain much if you think it through.

It explains Barry’s making fun of and belittling the Tea Party protestors. He calls them “Tea Baggers” as it is the most offensive term he can use of them. He states that republicans must “...sit in the back of the bus”. He is forever denigrating his opposition and even apologizes for America. Listen up America! You are an enemy of Obama if you love and respect this nation. It has taken 2 years but he has finally gotten his true feeling out about the great nation and her people. You are either with him; which means to crawl out of your pod and follow him blindly or you are his enemy. While you may have instinctively known that he didn’t care much for you or your way of thinking, did you know that you are his enemy?

It explains how Barry seeks to put us on a destruction course of spreading the wealth at the expense of destroying our economy and even our nation. America and the American way is his ENEMY. While democrats distance themselves Barry does what “Community Organizers” do: he attacks. He has attacked every good and decent thing or person in America. Do you happen to know where Barry will be 2 days after the election? In India. That of itself is not so bad except when you find out that they are taking up all 570 rooms, all the restaurants, and all the meeting rooms of the Mumbai Taj Mahal. He is taking Air Force 1 and Two Jumbo Jets full of folks and filling one hotel and parts of two others. Does he know we are out of cash? I guess a little 10 day vacation will do him good.

Do not misunderstand. I want our president rested and traveling in style. Barry is just not our President. He is president to some nation that resides in his mind and that he is trying to create. We that love America are merely the enemy and the current government is just the vehicle he is using to bring about his “hopeless change”. Do vote next Tuesday and stay prepared. Obama is about to show us what he is really capable of.

Obama 2.0 now More Offensive and Elitist than Before

The dems haven’t even lost the congress yet and Obama and his folks are leaking info through the New York Times are about Obama 2.0. Suggestions about the new and improved Obama suggest that ole Barry would like a second term. Of course this contradicts with his official comments of not caring about one. Which also contradicts his self aggrandizing attitude of being the savior of the world. So what could we expect in the upcoming release of Obamolotics? More of the same. It has long been said that if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and swims like a duck; it’s a duck. Barry is a duck. Okay not really a duck. Well you give him a name.

Barry has no familiarity with the truth, the American people, or the heritage of the majority of our history. He has made promises which he did not keep and deceived us with cloaked promises that he did keep. He has spoke ill of our nation and has elevated foreign nations above us. He has spent more money than the sum total of all American Presidents.

He has made fun of the American people and anyone that stands for anything that doesn’t mirror his viewpoint. More than any president I know of, he has lain the blame for everything at someone else’s doorstep. His presidency, if it can be called that, is exactly that of a community organizer where he bullies his way into getting what he wants. The Obama ideology is clearly socialistic and favors racial divisions.

The Obama administration is that of unproven Academics who having never achieved anything in the “real world” know everything about how we should go about it. If it weakens America he is for it. If it impoverishes America he is for it. If it destabilizes our standing in the world he is for it. If it involves taxing, spending, and growing government he is for it.

Obama 2.0. I don’t think so. Regardless of what happens November 2nd, Obama has to go in 2012.

Nanny State or I'm Not Giving Up My Teat!

Years ago we owned a small store when you could only buy staple goods with food stamps. The idea was that if you are broke, flour and milk are better purchases than Twinkies and a Coke. Some in government said, “No, we all have to be equal. Folks with food stamps should be able to buy the same things as everyone else.” There are 2 sides to this argument and both are slippery. During our years of owning the store we saw the abuses of the Food Stamp Program. It was truly sad. It was sad to see folks having tough times and sad to see how easy the system could be gamed. People actually sold their food stamps to unscrupulous store owners for cash, literally pennies on the dollar. They wanted the cash and the storekeeper could deposit them at face value. An old proverb states, “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”

Tragically, many of the people with the stamps had no money management skills which may have added to them being in the program. The longer they were on the program the more immune they became to stretching, even breaking the rules. If you called the state offices for assistance with abuses they would tell you that it was up to the shopkeepers to police the program; they didn't have but 2 agents for the state. Sound familiar. Create a program and then take no responsibility for it nor oversight of it. That said. I don't favor the "dole" though I have been on it myself during hardship. I also don't favor big government or programs that can be easily abused. So then what?

As a kid I stood in "relief lines". They were aid places for people in need. My mom had died and my dad was raising 5 of us with the help of hired housekeepers; when he could find one (Who wants to raise someone else’s five kids?) Anyway, standing in the Relief line was painful for us but even more so for my dad. However a couple of us kids would tag along with him in hopes that someone would toss in an extra pound of butter or something. It is hard to see hungry kids. The attendants of the line almost always tossed in something extra: rightly or wrongly. It was very confusing. We were proud to help and ashamed at the same time; people were supposed to strive to make it on their own. We knew good from bad and right from wrong. Oh well. Right doesn’t seem so important when you are hungry. Seeing that, good, decent, well meaning government employees bestowed extras on us. I guess it was some form of this program that re-emerged as “Food Stamps”. Things are different now.

It seems to me that many if not most Americans have a sense of entitlement now. Who knows why? It just somehow became part of our society like Welfare, Medicaid, ADC, Unemployment, Agricultural Price Support, and to some extent Social Security as well as many others. To be fair most of us have paid for decades into programs with the hope of using the benefits when we retire but “Government Knows Best”. In all their wisdom they have created generations of de facto “wards of the State” whom they will never wean from the teats of the American taxpayer. We all see it and complain about it but I wonder who can or will do anything about it. They won’t say that these programs are broke. There is no money in the program but it is not broke. You can redefine the meaning of any word so that you are not “technically” lying. Remember, “It depends on your definition of what “Is” means.”

When all sides have been heard on this matter it really comes down to the people. What will the people do? What will the people tolerate? What types of entitlements will the people pay for? This all begs to the nature of the modern person. Being one I am amazed by us. We all have a solution but can we pay the price as individuals? America is asking to cut the spending but I wonder what it is that we will willingly give up? Ask the elderly if they will take less of Medicare for the benefit of their grandchildren; then see if you can whip Granny ‘cause the fight is on.

The Who, What, Where, When, How, and Why

As a young person I was taught in English class to write using the Who, What, Where, When, How, and Why. It was said that this method would get the audience interested in what you were writing and so most of us that were taught this, use it. And so I will…

Who? Who in the h..l does Barack Hussein Obama think that he is to suppose that he is smarter that anyone and that he alone has the right to determine America’s future?

What? What give this same Obama the right to destroy long held traditions and procedures in favor of his delusional policies?

Where? Where did Barry learn to hate America so bad that he and his wife have no respect for her?

When? When did Americans lose their country to the few who disrespect the many?

How? How can a nation that takes its government leadership so lightly, survive these attacks from within?

Why? Why does Barry, the Press, Congress, (fill in the blank), seem hell-bent on the destruction of this nation?

For me to answer these questions it would take many words; words which you already have in your own minds and are rotating within trying to understand what the answers are. Why do you do that? Why do we try and assign meaning to all of these actions of Barry and his Academics who have seized power by deception? Do you not try to figure this out? Would it not be easier to understand the workings of the universe than to understand someone who wishes to destroy our way of living and governing? Surely.

I have come to realize that our enemies from within our borders are far more dangerous to us that those afar. Those in foreign lands hope to enslave us with fear while those here in America hope to enslave us, our children, and their children to the sick ideologies which they seek to impose. As of now they have socialized most of our economy, weakened our status in the world, alienated our closest allies, and empowered our enemies. All of the thinking on who, what, when, etc. will never make sense to you as you already know the real truth: Barry is not for us.

He lied about his past. He lied about his associations. He denied us his history so that we might examine his records. He placed inexperienced intellectuals with the same ideology as his in the highest offices in the land. He coached those appointments on how to get past the senate and what not to say. He denied any involvement in anything or denied to even deny. To date he has yet to tell the truth about anything of import and even many things that don’t matter. These are his good points.

Still, Americans hope and wait as if this “Deceiver” incarnate will suddenly become pro-America. He is pro-Muslim, pro-African American, pro-Illegal Immigrant, pro-Deficit Spending, and pro- Baby Killing. Yes. This man actually voted and supports Postnatal Abortion where if an abortion fails and the baby is born alive, then it is allowed, rather sentenced, to die amid a pile of bloody rags. To this man you spend energy wondering Who he is and Why he does, etc.? American listen to your own conscience. This man has none. He is like one who speaks “lies in hypocrisy; having "his" conscience seared with a hot iron”. His soul is scarred over and he can’t, won’t, and dares not even listen to those who see differently than he.

Did he not ignore the calls, cries and requests of the people just like he does to those babies whom he leaves to die in clinics and hospitals everywhere? Would you continue to hope that this “One” will see the light and turn from his ways? My fellow Americans: do not expect good to come from Barry or his minions. They are like him and do his bidding. Hope. Surely you should hope and pray if you believe. Vote. Vote every possible chance and Speak Up. Too long have we remained silent for fear of offending someone. I am not inciting offence but neither will I wither from those who disagree with decency, honesty, Americanism, and the Constitution. If my love of God and country offends you then I warn you to be ready to be offended for millions and tens and hundreds of millions of Americans are soon to offend you. Do what you will but DO NOT wait for Obama to become like you.

So Barack Hussein Obama I say that you should begin considering the questions: who, what, when… as America sees you for what you are.

US Military Burns Bibles

Apparently Don't ask and Don't tell extends to religion as well as sexual preference, at least in Afghanistan. In light of the administrations efforts to quash the 1st Ammendment rights of a Florida pastor who wanted to burn Korans I thought it appropriate to revive this story you problably never heard anyway.

BLITZER: Meanwhile, the U.S. military is caught in a raging controversy over bibles that were burned. Some Christian groups are furious that Americans were involved in what they consider to be an unthinkable act right in the midst of a war against religious extremism in Afghanistan.

Brian Todd is here in THE SITUATION ROOM.

You've been digging on this story because it's pretty shocking.

BRIAN TODD, CNN CORRESPONDENT: It is, Wolf. And it speaks to the very delicate and often dangerous balance that U.S. commanders face in war zones -- books that are holy to the majority of U.S. service members burned in the name of protecting them.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

TODD (voice-over): Bibles written in Pashtun and Dari, the two most common Afghan languages -- bibles sent by a church to a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan, bibles that were later burned by the U.S. government. These holy books were confiscated about a year ago at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

An independent film aired by the Al Jazeera Network had shown Evangelical soldiers worshipping at Bagram and talking about ways to share their faith.

(VIDEO CLIP)

TODD: But military rules forbid troops of any religion from proselytizing while in Afghanistan. And U.S. officials were concerned that the bibles would be used to try to convert Afghans to Christianity.

A U.S. military spokesman tells CNN, that kind of religious outreach could have provoked a violent backlash against Americans in this devoutly Muslim nation.

But in trying not to offend the Muslim population there, the military seems to have offended some Christians. The president of a Christian group called Open Doors USA is quoted as saying: "It really should shake the core of every Christian to realize that bibles are being burned."

A military analyst, who's also a Pentagon adviser, agrees.

LT. COL. ROBERT MAGINNIS (RET.), MILITARY ANALYST: There's no need to burn the bibles. They could have been shipped back. Just imagine if we were to -- you know, the same United States military were to take a bunch of Korans and burn them. I can imagine the -- the ramifications across the world.

TODD: Could those bibles have been shipped back?

Well, the military says, not really. A military spokesman tells us they worried that the church that had sent them would turn around and send them to another organization in Afghanistan, giving the impression that they'd been distributed by the U.S. government. So the decision was made to throw the bibles away.

And in war zones, U.S. troops are required to burn their trash. A U.S. military spokesman says they understand the sensitivities of Christians here, that this was not an easy decision, but they had to do this force protection -- Wolf.

BLITZER: Is there any indication that any of these bibles were actually distributed to the local population?

TODD: The military says they have no evidence so far that the bibles made it off of Bagram Air Force Base. The soldier who had gotten them did not know that he was not supposed to distribute them. A military chaplain on base corrected that soldier and confiscated the bibles. As far as they know, they never made it off the base.

BLITZER: Brian Todd, thanks very much for that story.

You have to ask yourself when Obama, Hilary, Petraeus, Gates, the FBI and who knows who else can lean on this pastor, what will be next? Who will be next? What won't you be able to say? I am just asking here as I am more than a little concerned.

Problems: Pastor Burns Korans. Bigger Problem is Islam.

As of this point everyone up to and including the POTUS has asked the Florida Pastor not to burn Korans on 9-11. Muslims all over the world are protesting, burning flags and are beside themselves with hatred for America. Don't you have to ask yourself that if these people are this volatile over this issue that perhaps they may go nuke over who knows what.

There are no secrets that Muslims are hard to negotiate with. Take a look at history and tell me when the ever conceded anything or co-operated for any length of time will anyone including amongst themselves. They are always involved in tribal warfare and even now they cannot bring together successful governments in many of the countries they dominate: ie. Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, etc.

As of right now little kids are taking off their shoes in airports and Americans are receiving full body scans because of some Islamic martyrs on 9-11. When I left Cozumel, Mexico a week ago the security inspection I received was superficial at best. Why? I suppose they figure let America do the tough security. Who knows? My point is that America is the target and we are largely on our own. No matter what this pastor does or doesn't do Muslims will get their panties in a bunch over something. They already call Americans "racist" who disagree with their stance on the ground-zero mosque. Face it. Muslims are a powder keg. The slightest thing sets them off and no one can predict that "thing". There has never been sustained peace in a muslim country. Never. It is my opinion that they are hyper-sensitive and that anything and everything is offensive: particularly non-muslims.

Our soldiers in Afghanistan are in harms way. No doubt about it. If they are Christians they are prohibited from sharing their faith with the Afghans. Why? Because we do not want to offend the Afghans. Ok. Along this same line the US military rounded up bibles that had been printed in the local Afghan dialect and then the disposed of them. How? They burnt them. Bible burning by Americans to appease Afghanis. Excuse me. Did you see Christians threatening war of the bible burning. No. It is my guess that you never even heard of the bible burning.

My point is this: It is best to handle a problem while it is small. If muslims in America and throughout the world think they can control us with their threats; they will. Right now they are doing a fine job of it. The Florida pastor has a small church of 50. Everyone is calling him a loon, fanatic, zealot, whatever. Look at the circus our government and press have made of this. Is this an example of never letting "a good crisis go to waste?" Had they just dropped this matter no one would even known about it. The pastor says he wants to draw attention to the problem. I think he has done a fine job of that; except everyone is calling him the problem. We would all agree he has the right to do it but that we might think it wise not too; kind of like the ground zero mosque.

You might be thinking that in a day or two this will all blow over. I think not. The more Obama tries to snuggle up to muslim countries the more demands they put on us. If you have not taken the time to look at the videos in this and my previous post please do so. There is no "Politically Correct" way for me to say these things but they need saying. We live in uncertain times. I am certain of few things. One of those things is that muslim Sharia law will enslave America to some Imam. Think it over. Lsstly. If you quit your church will you be killed. No. Quit islam. The prescribed punisment is death.

Muslims Hate and Kill Christians. This is not news. It is a well known and documented fact. Still here in the United States the outcry is for tolerance of muslims. This despite history which shows that every time there has been tolerance shown to the muslims, they cannot reciprocate in kind. Even now as the muslims look to build on ground zero soil they are practically urinating on Sacred Soil. To date not one American muslim group has stood to show sensitivity to the plight of the Americans. Rather, there has been hatred and condemnation from Muslims worldwide and claims that those who oppose the mosque are islamophobic.

Do the muslims adopt our society or merely take from it that which suits their purpose. Do they seek to be Americans or do they only seek the benefits of living in America. Do they respect the rights of other Americans (Christian and Jew and others) or do they keep to themselves with an agenda known only to them? For me the answer is clear. None speak out for the rights of Christians. No. Not even one. Why? Is it because of fear? I think so. If you research what Sharia law does to those who speak out you will see that it is death for them. If they fear their own religion, how much more should we who are more despised than any fear them? Do you not know that any non-muslim is an abomination and worthy of death? I suspect that in your heart you are nervous but in your mind you fear being marked as a bigot and hate monger.

What kind of person does it take to see evils happen before their eyes and do nothing? Our kind? For years we have been walking past violent acts and evil doings of all kinds, turning our heads like children hiding beneath the covers. And to what result? To the result that now, in our lifetimes, reasonable people cannot have a difference of opinion without fear of reprisal. Americans are falling under their own form of Sharia law: Political Correctness. Under the PC banner you have had your intelligence and very “self” removed from you and replaced with remote controlled guilt, shame, and thinking. Now in this most turbulent of times we continue to surrender to the will of others who come calling us racists, bigots, islamaphobes, homophobes, ignorant, hate mongers, and more. I am none of those. I am me and I have a right to believe in what I will: even if you don’t like it, agree, or respect my right to do so.

And, while I don’t agree with a pastor whose church wants a “burn the Koran day” I absolutely agree with their right to have it. You cannot legislate the way people believe. Pastor Terry Jones believes in his right to oppose Islam. He has received death threats and yet he continues. Who would issue such death threats? Law abiding Americans? I think not. And while I would not attend Terry’s church and would suggest alternate ways of expressing his displeasure with Islam he does draw attention to the issue.

Consider this. Our troops are in harm’s way. Muslims want to kill them. Burning Korans will make the muslims want to kill our troops more. Following that logic you could burn a half-dozen bibles and conquer the world. No. Because Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, and others are not driven by the same ideology as muslims. What would you have to do to get Christians to riot like that. Do you see my point? Muslims are different. Rev. Terry sees it. Our troops see it. America sees it. We just don’t want to talk about it. Know this for certain: Muslim is not a religion; it is and ideology that includes a religion. Accept that now and deal with it; or don’t. At the current rate you will have to make a decision by 2030 as muslims may be the majority. Maybe sooner with a little help from Barry and Bloomberg.

Obama Lies. America Cries. Media Denies.

In developing news, today Obama blamed everyone but himself for everything as he polishes his Nobel Peace Prize, having just missed a 3 foot putt on the 18th. “Somebody left a spike mark,” he whined as he entered the golf cart. Minutes later the 5 hour delay for tee times at St. Andrews mysteriously disappeared. These days, everywhere Barry goes, Barry shuts down highways, businesses, neighborhoods, golf courses, and Democrats futures. Rumor has it that he has that same effect on christian churches in all nearby states. In the near future it is expected that he will be able to shut down all of America. Fortunately for him there will be someone else is to blame. Today’s blame rests keenly with the GOP, the greens keeper, and John Boehner. Tomorrow he will leave out the greens keeper and John Boehner is a coin toss but the GOP is on the blame schedule.

History in the making has never been so enthralling but then America is witnessing its first messiah. Fortunately for “his Obamliness”, he knows the answer to everything and doesn’t require assistance. Neither doth he require competent people in responsible positions near to him. Those jobs can be filled by tax cheats and scoundrels and even those with treasonous connections; as long as they have finger holes in the backs of their puppet-like heads. Their roles are insignificant to Barry as he alone determines America’s course. Just today Barry annouced he is planning to spend 50 billion on roads and stuff. He did this using his own head and not one of the talking ones. According to Barry, even though he just spent quadrillions on roads and stuff he wants to spend some more to show America how sensitive he is to the unemployed. So, in a humble speech taking up almost none of his precious time he threw a bone to the same construction crews that got the last work. Sources said he can now get to the more important business of feeding his ice cream addicted family.

Since Barry doesn’t have to work with actual numbers the 50 billion could be rounded up to as high as gadzillions. We will have to wait for the actual documents to know which pork projects he failed to mention. Meanwhile back at the Obama digs they have been redoing the oval office at “Allah only knows” what cost to the people. In true Barry form the carpet contains a misquote wrongly attributed to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Like everything Barry does, you don’t see what your are getting until it is too late. I suspect the rug is some right-wing conspiracy thing anyway. We can ask Gibby in the morning.

Assuming you have read this far it does appear that I have accused someone of being a muslim. This is just not the case. Barry is not religious by traditional standards. By definition a belief in god would necessitate a supreme being. If “one” is "the one" then that “supreme being" could only be "ones self" thereby needing to worship “himself”. Think about it. This frees up Saturdays, Sundays, and anything else that might interfere with golf. Note: These synonyms for “self worship” are quite illuminating.

Okay. So perhaps Barry is not a “wise guy” in the traditional sense.

Lastly. The Old Press outlets had nothing to report today except what someone told them to say. I did not get a copy of that message so I had to write my own. Apparently they get theirs all completed with photos and envelopes containing little yellow pills that make their brains tingle and sometimes their legs.

What can be written about America today that hasn’t already been penned and far more eloquently than I? Yet there is something that needs to be restated and planned for. Let us consider hard times.

As a young man I remember the old people talking about how far they walked and through how many inches of snow. I made fun of them asking if it were uphill paths both ways. I am not laughing now and I haven’t been for years. I found out for myself. You see I have been flat broke in my life 3 times. Been there. Done that. Got the “T” shirt. For various reasons, three times I found myself with a few boxes of clothes, pots and pans, and little else. In those days you did not ask for nor expect charity. You found a way. The kids need to eat so you find a way. The family needs a house so you find a way. You don’t have a car to drive to find work so you find a way. It wasn’t easy but it was what it was.

Yes I did accept some charity. When folks from the church showed up at the door with food and there was none in the house my pride took a beating and then we ate dinner. Through the Grace of God my wife and I survived those days. We laugh about them but we don’t desire to revisit them. Still; we can go there again if the need arises. I am not all that worried about us but rather the young people: your kids and my kids. My kids were there but they were kids and that doesn’t qualify them for a passing grade in the School of Hard Knocks. A bad day for them was not having the latest fashion jeans or tennis shoes. Thank God, but my kids have never really felt the effects of BROKE. To them broke is overdrawing at the ATM until Friday. I suspect that is true for you and yours.

It has been such a long time since Americans in numbers have had hard times. What we are having these days doesn’t even qualify. On the other hand, when I think about America’s future I see real hard times coming no matter what happens in Washington now or this fall. Sooner or later the nation’s debt will have to be paid. One of these days the fifty percent who work will no longer be able to pay for those who don’t. Real people know there is no free. What happens when there isn't money for unemployment and you've become accustomed to it? What about when welfare ends? Food stamps? ADC? What the government gives they took from someone. There are less someones every month now. Questions these days aren’t whether the government will be taking more. That is for certain. We have made it possible. We put them in charge and the put our minds to something else; too tired to be bothered with the details.

Now we find ourselves with a President who thinks too much of himself and too little for the American people. He spends and spends. He spends government money: your money and he spends his money; more of your money. Nothing that he has that he has not taken from the people. In fact he sees it as his divine and destined role; to take and disperse as he sees fit. It is not only he but vast numbers of Americans and most of Congress believes that government is supposed to provide things. If we are hungry the government is the food pantry. If we need clothing they are Nordstroms ‘cause we don’t want no Walmart clothes. They are there to make everyone equal and millions believe that they can actually do it. Yes. Millions and hundreds of millions of Americans believe that socialism can work here and now though it has failed everywhere it has ever been tried. Obama believes he can make it work and he has many of you believing in him.

Now suppose the government switches direction and away from the socialism idea? Then what? Well there are still going to be hard times. You can’t spend money you don’t have and not have consequences. Those who still believe that, go stand on the other side of the room with the unicorns. Either way we have to face some hard times. The main differences are will we all be pulling in the same direction or will we be divided and pulling every-which-a-way? Will you be slaves to your government or will you be free? Free and poor or in bondage and poor? There is a choice but you may have to walk uphill, both directions, through countless inches of snow.

I believe there is snow in the forecast. All of us old fuddy duddies are expecting it.

Is Obama a Muslim? Who Cares? Who's President is he anyway? This Guy's?

So now 1 in 5 Americans believe Obama is a Muslim. One in three think his is a Christian and 61% or 3 out of 5 think he is handling the economy poorly. While I don’t have factual proof that “O” is a muslim, I do know he is Pro-Muslim, Pro-Black, Pro-Illegal Immigrant, and Anti-Arizona. He is Anti-Small Business, Anti-Self Reliance, Anti-Conservative, and Anti-Tea Party. He hates criticism yet invites it with his actions. He is Anti-Oil and Pro-Debt. He loves to spend and to run up the deficit. He adores travel to exotic places and extravagant and lavish dinners with famous people. He tells us to cut back while he and Michelle go nuts. He is a contradiction in terms and a control freak. He hides from the truth and his past and denies the obvious. Is he a Muslim? Who knows? He is not an American in sense of someone who loves this nation and what she stands for. You can bet that Barry can send Americans to war but would never personally commit to personally protect this nation. We are an embarrassment to him.

From the beginning Barry has walked like he is special, talked down to the people, and magnified his importance. He has defied and flown in the face of everything American and has sought to tear apart this nation. He promotes racism, division, bickering, and weakening of the people’s freedoms. His apologies for America have circled the Globe as he has weakened the relationships of allies. He favors unions, control, and taxes and abhors entrepreneurs, the self-reliant, and hard working middle class families. His goal is to take from some and give to others and only he knows the fair way to do this. Barry wants what Barry wants and is omnipotent in his own mind. He has never taken heed to anything the masses want and even appears to treat them as ignorant.

On foreign policy, Barry is weak to say the least. His lack of experience has allowed Iran to be within days of going nuke, made Israel mistrust us, has Russia deceiving us, and the remainder of the World telling us what to do. Illegals from every nation on earth are filling our nation and he seems deaf to the voices warning him of home grown terrorists. Barry thinks it’s a good idea to provoke a deathbed dictator in Korea who does possess nuclear weapons while worrying about the rights of terrorists more than about protecting our nation. Does it matter if Barry is a Muslim? Not one bit.

The whole argument for whether Obama is a Muslim or not finds its roots in people trying to understand why Barry does what he does. Americans are a trusting people. “O” is using that trusting nature to push his agenda even though directly opposed to the will of the people. People without jobs who want them can’t find them and Barry would rather keep them on unemployment rather than provide help to create jobs. “O” has never done any real work and he doesn’t understand it. Who cares who this guy thinks is god? What we really care about is how to get him to leave office. Dear reader; if you have a God, ask him to help Barry find a way out of office as it seems he is beyond redemption while in Office.

Obama: Winning the Hearts of America

As surely everyone knows by now, Obama has stated the obvious: Muslims have a right to build a mosque at ground zero. Duh Barry! Everyone knows what the legal rights of all religions in America are (at least for now). What is at question is what is respectful and honorable and what considers the sensitivities of all Americans with regard to building this mosque. Of course “O” doesn’t want to weigh in with his opinion. He just wanted to stir the S----, not help it in any meaningful way.

By the way, I truly respect and honor the losses that 911 families suffered at the hands of these Saudi terrorists. However, all of America lost something that day and we all have something to say in this though the press is only covering the families. On that day we lost our sense of security and our trust in several nations. We lost our ability to travel about the nation freely without body scans and cavity searches. We lost our love for certain peoples flying on airplanes. Most importantly we gave up some freedoms to suicidal criminals.

Back to Barry. His latest sensitivity for America showed itself as the worst traffic jam in the history of Los Angeles. Why? Because he was having a $30,000 a plate fundraiser for the Democratic Party. I guess when you are as important and he and his wealthy guests are, it is fine to close down major sections of the city so that the elites can rub elbows. Isn’t California a blue state? I guess they won’t mind giving up several hours of their lives sitting in traffic to help out “O”.

In further disrespect, Barry and his daughter took a dip in the gulf. The only proof came not from the press corps but from the Whitehouse press as the real press is barred from many Obama events. (Reminds me of the Soviet system and Pravda) As for Obama's swim, on August 16, the London Independent reported that Obama and his daughter, Sasha, swam in a private Panama City Beach, FL beach off Alligator Point in St. Andrew Bay, not part of the Gulf.

Reporters were banned, no TV video permitted. "So....only the White House photographer was allowed to capture proceedings. The official picture was intended to provide evidence that the region's beaches are back to normal." Still, a photo of Barry and his youngest daughter is being circulated on all the networks. Do you think he should use his daughter as a political prop? Oh well. Anyway, the press is using “Barry Photos” taken by “Pravda”. Hey Rupert and the rest of you media moguls. How about if you don’t see the news happen you don’t report it as fact. If a president swims in the ocean and no one was there did he still get wet? Maybe, but not on my TV station, newspaper, or magazine. Try this for a while and you won’t have to report faux news.

Pehaps a dangerously toxic oil/dispersant brew doesn't really contaminate much or perhaps the entire Gulf? Surely it's not poison and potentially lethal for decades, maybe generations. Eat up. The all-clear's been given. You've seen the photos of Barry and the kid. I wonder if gulf shrimp is on the menu this week at the Whitehouse? Will anyone be testing these waters? These Shrimp? I'd like a faked photo of the Obamas eating gulf seafood and asking for "more please".

Newsflash! Obama Supports Muslim’s Rights!

For those of you who just woke up from a comatose stupor, Obama just sided with the Muslims on a Ground Zero Mosque. Duh! Was that ever in question? Obama is so pro Muslim that he thinks the Muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful sound on earth. If asked the same question I might have said the laughter of a child playing or the babbling of a brook. Not Barry.

Actually what I find interesting about this is that he loosely ties his thinking to the First Amendment of the Constitution. Someone correct me if I am wrong but isn’t this the first time comrade “O” gave a whit what the constitution said. Not being a constitutional scholar like Barry I was thinking that the First Amendment had to do with No State Religion and not that you could build anything, anytime, anywhere. It is confusing because the left plays it one way one time and another way the next time. Government regularly kicks God out of all sorts of books, buildings, parks, and whatever. I guess Allah is something special to Barry.

Truthfully I don’t worry about the mosque at all. There isn’t a construction company in New York that will take that bid. They will have to farm that out to the Saudis who will be the money behind this deal. The real news in this whole story is the imam who is behind this mosque is also linked to some bizarre ideals. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, head of the Cordoba Initiative, which seeks to construct the massive center, repeatedly refused “on-air” to affirm the U.S. designation of Hamas as a terrorist organization or call the Muslim Brotherhood extremists.

This same imam states that he is a bridge-builder. He wants to build bridges between Muslims and Jews and Christians and terrorists... Actually I threw in the terrorists. He doesn't even admit terrorists. Surely if you were looking to build bridges you would not do it using the ashes of America's dead. This man may deceive the press and others but patriots know exactly what this guy is all about.

By the way Barry. Now that you really have put your foot in it with these latest comments: when do you think your next pratfall might come? Hopefully before the elections if you please.

Section 8 Housing Frenzy

How often have you heard that a picture is worth a thousand words. (Click on the Photo to enlarge it.) According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution over 30,000 people lined up to get a chance at federally subsidized housing. Look carefully at this photo from that same source and tell me just exactly what have we done to this country?

Supposedly riot police were needed to control the crowd. Heat and violence took its toll on more than 60 people and all that was being handed out was the chance to be put on a list for housing if it opened up. Here is a portion of that AJC article:

Some of the crowd waited for two days at the Tri-Cities Plaza shopping center. As the temperature rose Wednesday, people fell ill.

Sgt. Cliff Chandler, spokesman for the East Point Police Department, said a toddler was treated earlier in the morning for "some type of seizure," Chandler said.

"A lot of it was heat and some was health-related issues" such people not taking their medications, Chandler said.

By the time everyone had left around 2 p.m., the temperature had climbed into the low 90s.

East Point police, some wearing riot helmets, were patrolling the area. Firefighters and EMTs were attending to people who were overheating in the sun. Police from College Park, Hapeville, Fulton County and MARTA assisted in crowd control.

Chandler said there were no arrests.

Felecia McGhee told the AJC she arrived around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. She said the major problem began when people started breaking into the line and then officials handing out applications started moving those areas and those line breakers. She said she saw at least two small children trampled when the crowd rushed the building where the applications were to be handed out.

"It's a real mess out here," she said.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Mike Petchenik said fights were breaking out and police had to stop people who were storming the door.

Channel 2 reporter Tom Jones said, “There are thousands, I mean, thousands of people here. I’ve seen people fall out from the heat.”

By late morning the crowd had thinned considerably and people were walking up and getting their applications without delay. But just before the 1 p.m. deadline, a line of about 200 people had formed. Shortly after 1 p.m., several people ran across the parking lot to get in line but were told by police that the line was closed.

Obama plays B Ball. Blacks Only? No Press!

The election is over. The votes have been tallied. The Obama’s have been declared the most clueless family in the US. Apparently Michelle thinks that the worst economy since the Great Depression is a great time to spend $75,000.00 per day of taxpayer cash. And for what? A ladies night out trip to Spain. At least she got to hob knob with Hollywood celebrities and the King and queen of Spain.

Refusing to use leftover “Stimulus” cash, Nancy has called congress back from campaign mode to do what? Yes. She wants to approve more stimulus cash. Apparently “O” can’t imagine using $26 billion of the nearly $400 billion unspent stimulus funds. In Obamalogic it somehow makes sense to spend more of what we are out of: cash!

In further brain cramped fashion the US is now planning to sell advanced F15 fighter jets to… (drum roll). Yes that is right. The Saudis are the recipients of one of the largest deals of its kind at a price tag of $30 billion dollars. Our president thinks that in a region that controls nearly half of the world’s oil, houses 90% of the world’s terrorists, and has one of the worst human rights records ever; somehow we should help them further destabilize the region. Who said Obama was pro-Islamic, anti-Israeli?

Over the weekend while “O” played hoops with basketball legends in a game that was to entertain wounded warriors, the press pool sat outside in vans. That’s right. No photo ops of the smiling wounded warriors as the Presidential Press were barred. While many complain that the press doesn’t report anything of significance these days, one could argue that they can’t report on anything less significant than “O’s” skills under the net. As for the wounded warriors we will have to imagine what they thought of Barry and the B Ball Big Timers. I wonder if this post racial president invited any white ballplayers. If the press had been able to report we might know. The above photo is who we do know attended.

Lastly the President's party, the Democratic Party, is now being tied to some of the most underhanded and disruptive political tactics apart from third world nations. Apparently, in an attempt to weaken conservative momentum Democrats are filling some state ballots with candidates supposedly representing the “Tea Party” movement. What is so troubling is that no one in the Tea Party has heard of any of these folks and their ties to the Democratic Party is unmistakable. Like so much in this administration; if you can’t win honorably: CHEAT.

While America tries to figure out how to hold her head up in pride and dignity, 0Clueless goes about life in his imaginary world. First let me ask you this. Adm. Mike Mullen, chairmain of the U.S joint chiefs of staff, stated that the US does have a military option for Iran but HE THINKS IT WOULD BE A BAD IDEA TO USE IT. Excuse me. Why open your face and allow words to fall out only if they telegraph your indifference to deal with the possible options? Say less. Say nothing. Don’t say anything stupid like we have “0” intent to use force.

To clarify my position here I have gone to using the Zero 0 here instead of a Capital Ooh “O”. As I see it the Zero “0” administration is doing nothing to help America, Arizona, Joblessness, Small Business, etc. As such I have chosen to refer to 37% of Americas president as Zero Bama = “0”bama. For the majority of Americans he offers us nothing. Thus he is 0bama.

In continuing stupidity 0 and his goons press ahead to prosecute Arizona for her stance on illegal immigrants while the 0administration does nothing. Actually nothing would be more desirable than their de facto efforts to give Arizona to Mexico. If you are going to allow Mexico to run roughshod over Arizona and to value Mexico more than Arizona are you not a traitor to your own people or are brown people the only ones worth caring for.

0bama promised that 0 tax dollars would be used for abortion yet 2 states are already spending your taxes on these same abortions. One might conclude that 0bama 0lied and 0deceived the American people, even to the point of signing a 0presidential 0proclamation that meant n0thing.

Really America. All the news that comes from Washington these days has 0 value for patriots, taxpayers, and local economies. This man 0ffers us n0thing, d0es nothing, and cann0t tell the truth. He is the president with0ut being presidential. 0ne might call him 0golfer (I hear he is a real hacker), 0vacationer, 0leader, and 0thers. I just can’t wait to call him 0’over.

You Just Can't Make this Stuff Up!

Breaking news: Newark NJ mayor has ordered the city to stop buying toilet paper. Apparently the 70 Million dollar shorfall has caused the Mayor to react. In a lesser headline Citigroup had to switch from 2 ply to 1 ply. Be sure to keep this in mind as you make your travel and financial plans. Your money could wind up in dirty hands.

When I was much younger I used to be amused by the old people and the things that they would say. Things like, “What is this world coming to?” and “At this rate there won’t be any: (multiple possibilities) right or wrong, truth, morals, principles, values, justice, money, America, honest politicians, ethics, etc., in a few years.” Now I am the old person that I made so much fun of and the only thing changed is the intensity or extremism of these fears. That, and the fact that many many young people now see the dangers as well. The things that are going on, well, you just can’t make this stuff up.

Over the weekend Obama stated that he could feel America’s pain with regard to the economy. He stated that he and Michelle were not that far removed to relate to you. I suppose if you have taken a half dozen vacations this year, are taking your daughter to Spain booking 35 rooms in a 5 star hotel, made $5 million dollars last year, and are hated by 2/3rds of America you might be who O’clueless is talking about. He doesn’t understand me or my life nor anyone I know. How elitist and indifferent to America can this man get?

In a less intelligent position Sen. Barbara Boxer tried to equate her time in the senate as equal to serving in the military. Hum? Apparently the halls of congress are now filled with sandbags and automatic weapons. Still I haven’t heard of any Congress people being shot. Truly Barbara. Do you really think like that? And people voted for you? Whoa!

The good news is that this is America is a free country. That is unless you are a Christian and go to college in Georgia at Augusta State University. If you go there you have to be in agreement with gays, lesbians, transgender, and whatever. If you hold to a Christian belief that doesn’t approve of these lifestyles, well then you will have to just go someplace else like Saudi Arabia. Of course in Saudi Arabia you can’t be a Christian either or gay or lesbian or transgender, etc. They basically have a Dictatorship and we soon will have one.

On a lighter note Obama decided to skip the 100 year anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America in favor of appearing on the View. Let me imagine how he processed that, “Ok. Lastly, the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) announced that we cannot continue as a Nation with this extreme deficit spending. The last I heard the administration was only listening to the CBO when they came out with numbers the met their approval. Look for the Whitehouse to make a statement (or not) stating that the CBO forgot or overlooked some Obamunist program that will change all of that.

It just chafes me when I see a politician propose to speak for me after denying to listen to what I have to say. The Whitehouse in general does this. They talk as if they represent me but deny everything that I stand for, believe, and hope for this country. To hear Barry tell it I am just dying to become enslaved to his entitlement programs for those who won’t work. Even more he pretends to speak for me in that congress is doing great work at the beckoning of the people. If that were true congress might have more than an %11 approval rating. Surely they must know what a joke they have become.

Lately some Democrats in congress are starting to latch on to the idea to keep the Bush tax cuts. It is not clear whether they want the cuts to remain or just want to be seen as pro “Working Class”. I tend to suspect the latter. In my district the politicians are all talking like they have already been elected or reelected. Not so fast. My candidate for congress in Missouri’s 3rd congressional district is John Wayne Tucker. He is everything that a thinking and concerned voter would want without the trappings of political system. Still, the typical Democratic and Republican favorites are speaking out with the entitlement attitude of aristocracy. This kind of attitude just burns me up.

The other day the Obama administration pulled the trigger and fired Shirley Sherrod for what appeared to be racist comments. After further examination they decided she wasn’t all that racist but more of the elitist, spread the wealth kind of ideologue that the Whitehouse loves. Now there is all this talk of making her some kind of “Race Czar”. In her new found celebrity her true racist tendencies are really starting to surface. It just may be that she is a racist commie who would love to take from the haves and give to the have-nots. Great. Another loon for the Administration.

It remains to be seen what effect Americans can have at the polls this fall. After that we will have our hands full righting the aberrant legislation that the Obamunist Administration has enacted. In the meantime we can continue focusing on our local elections and contributing to those causes we believe in. America. You are a great and shinning light to the world no matter what the libacrats say. Forget Hollywood and the words of Elitist politicians. Make sure you are registered and vote in any election within your reach. This is our birthright and our heritage. Those in power got there by deceit but they shall not hold it long. Coming up with new and stimulating reading for my followers is something that I give serious thought to. Since I tend to blog about Obama and his administration there are some things I have noticed. How many times should I point out that Obama lies. Everyone knows that. Even those people who do or were supporters of his know that he is incapable of telling the truth. And then there is the underhanded or around-the-back way Obama legislates. Surely everyone know by now that he has no concern for “the process” but only the result. In other words, he doesn’t care if it is legal, constitutional, ethical or perhaps even moral as long as it is something that “he” wants. He did this with healthcare and he did it with the budget. Truthfully, I struggle to come up with new information to interest you.

Lately I have been researching the progress Muslims have made in taking over America. As you probably know that is one of their stated goals. On first glance it doesn’t seem all that alarming until you find how many Muslim organizations are in the U.S. and how well they have placed themselves in government and academia. I used to think they were just a religion but I now know that for Muslims government and god are the same thing. Moreover, only their god is god and the God of Christians, Jews and others are no gods at all. In fact if you believe in Jehovah, Yahweh, Almighty God, God, or Jesus you are banned from many Muslim countries and may soon be subordinated or worse here in America. I couldn’t imagine this happening but all the proof that I can come up with shows that it will only be years until Muslims will rule. Some will say that I am nuts now but they will not say that then.

I would like to write about how the Government was securing our borders to the south, as well as the north, east, and west. Sadly that is not the case. Arizona is raising money, perhaps more than a million dollars by now to defend themselves from the federal government. The government is not suing them because their law is bad but because they say Arizona has no right to have their own law on immigration. I know. On TV they say it is about possible abuses or civil rights violations but that is not what the lawsuit says. They say things like racist, and profiling, and pulling people over for no reason to get people upset. If they tried to sue Arizona over that they would get laughed out of court. Nope. The reason they are suing is because Arizona has a law regarding immigration: nothing more; nothing less. In the meantime Obama is working to try and get amnesty for all those poor people so that they can become good voters for him.

Unfortunately, I could not find any real news to tell you about. Your Constitution is being destroyed more each day and your rights disappear with it. Money is being spent at unheard of rates and the world’s leaders are begging us to stop it. Of course we don’t. Obama knows best you know. So the only thing I could write for you today is that in only months you have lost a great deal of America’s freedoms and in a few more months you will surely loose the balance of them. That is unless people decide to all stand up at once and say “No More”. That is my prayer as I can still pray until the Muslims succeed in taking over. Barry? Didn’t you use to be one?

Voters Awakened. Scary to Politicians...

Over the weekend the Republican equivalent of Biden said that the Tea Party wouldn’t survive. Yes. Lindsey Graham appears to be doing obama’s work for him and is often taking up his causes these days. Me thinks that Lindsey has no clue about the Tea Party patriots as they are not easy to pigeonhole. Some have said that they are angry white men, white people, and/or rich people. Generally there was a racist slur added to the defamation of the Patriots memberships. While they are primarily white as seen from a distance and while they are angry and while many of them have money, they are largely not racists.

What you can say for sure about the Tea Party people is that they have been politically awakened; many if not most for the first time. It is doubtful that any of these folks ever marched on any place before. For the most part they have never been to a political rally nor have they ever held up anything but a yard-sale sign. What they now are is a committed group of the most powerful Americans: voters. These people don’t just talk about candidates. They have researched them. While it is true that they have no central organization to direct them, they don’t need it. They will do what they believe in their hearts come any given election day. For a partisan politician the Tea Party represents everything they fear: thoughtful, intelligent, empowered, and committed voters who will look at voting records and not political prose. No wonder Lindsey would speak ill of them.

Come election day when these people enter the voting booth only they will make their decisions. Not being controlled by Washington handouts or special interests they are free to create “dimpled chads” for whomever they see fit. You can’t call them republican nor democrat even though they may be registered as such because they are voting their conscience. Such people are likely to “throw their votes away” on such dark horses as Rand Paul or John Wayne Tucker. In their foolishness they are giving America candidates who will truly break the status quo in Washington.

Nearly two years ago obama set America on a course for Change but I am thinking that he may see change that he never knew was possible. He wanted socialism and woke the spirit of Freedom that had fallen asleep. He spoke of change and we came to understand how evil his kind of change could be. Now the people are wanting change for sure: to change back to the way we were before we lost control to Washington. obama was said to be the end of racial tensions and now he has created all the more division between the races and awakened America to the true nature of the problem.

Lindsey. You have often shown us who you are and what you are made of. Your boyish look and gentle voice are fooling no one. You only need declare your alignment with obama. It is and has been clear to the many and now to even the few. Know this. It is not the lack of unity that weakens the Tea Party Patriots. That is where their very strength lies. They are free to speak, act, worship, and vote according to their conscience. They answer to no party. Scary: isn’t it?

Captain Obama: Our Superhero!

We all know that the Captain is supposed to go down with the ship. Our Captain knows stuff that most people don't. I read how he knows how to make the most out of every crisis. Here he is blowing up a bomb to make the ground ready for a new solar power factory. I wonder if we cover the earth with solar panels will we look like a disco ball in outer space? I think I will google that. It is fun to guess things.

Ok. Suppose you lived along the Gulf Coast and your way of life was coming to an end. Suppose you blame in on the inactivity of the President. Suppose you knew that 13 nations had offered to send ships to help protect you from the scourge of the oil spill; and suppose there were dozens of oil-skimming ships around the US that could be used but for some reason your president wouldn’t allow those ships or those nations to help. Would that be proof that this president was sabotaging your life and future or would you think you were just really unlucky. Exactly. Today would not be the day for you to buy lottery tickets.

Also suppose that the president was fighting the oil spill when he got and idea to try and create some sort of law that would make his friends billionaires while quadrupling the cost of gasoline, electricity, heating oil, and natural gas or propane. You would have to say he is a friggin' genius. Doing two things is multi-tasking but this guy can do dozens and help his friends at the same time. I wish I was one of his friends.

You might also wonder about why the president would want to come up with some kind of law making all illegal immigrants legal instead of building a fence. Too easy. While experts worked on this he already figured out that to lower the crime rate all he has to do is get rid of a bunch of laws. If there are no laws to break, you can’t do anything illegal. If everyone who comes here is legal then there is no such thing as “illegal immigration”. Is it any wonder he is our captain.

When this president had a problem with one of the Auto Manufacturers,he fired the president of that company. Then he bought that company for pennies on the dollar with your money. What a buy. He helped some more of his friends and gave away most of that company to the people who helped him become president. He said he wouldn’t do that when he was elected. You might think that he lied and cannot be trusted. It is probably very confusing to you why all of the decisions he makes seems to work out bad for you. You just have to learn to trust him and stop worrying. Politics is hard to learn.

If you are a Christian or a working person or a patriot you may have noticed that you have less of everything these days. It could be that you have less freedom. God is not welcome in most of America’s public buildings anymore and Ole Glory is not as popular as she once was. You also have to be careful not to say what you think because if you are wrong they will put your name in the paper and your picture on TV and tell how stupid you are. Whatever you do don’t complain about taxes. An icecream man did that and was called a “smartass” by the vice-captain. Anyway, you were told that you wouldn’t pay any more tax than before but you might be noticing that the price of everything keeps going up. If you smoke cigarettes then you have to pay more taxes because the government wants you to pay for the people who quit smoking. Hey. They have actually come up with a new tax called a Value Added Tax that no one has to pay because it is hidden. What a great idea. They have to get their money somehow.

Actually, come to think of it they don’t have the money they are spending now but not to worry. This president or captain of ours is spending money that we don’t have but he has a plan to fix that next year. The good part is that the Chinese must like us a lot because they keep giving us money. Somebody said they aren’t going to give us any more but that is ridiculous: China is our friend. They say it has something to do with the fact that we keep spending even when we are broke and the other countries think that is a bad idea. Dang those foreigners. Someone said that my grandchildren and their kids will have to pay for this. Great because I am getting too old to work and jobs are kind of scarce right now.

Still it must be nice to be a captain. Ours spends lots of his time traveling to places and seeing new things. He makes lots of speeches which everyone loves. People love him so much they write about him every day and there are lots of TV shows that talk mostly about him. He is some kind of expert on this old paper called the Constitution and people are always amazed at the things he finds in it. They don’t find those same things so that shows what an expert he is. Some of those people say he is trying to destroy that paper but that is just silly. I do think it is sad that our captain has to sink our ship.

I don’t think so. Of course Mr. Obama we are surprised when you do things. First of all most of your ideas are pure insanity. Frankly we cannot believe that you would pass Healthcare when more than 60% of Americans don’t want it. So you do the thing we don’t want but you don’t do the dozens of things that you promised that we do want.

Participation: Citizen participation will be a priority for the Administration. HUM!
Sunshine Law: President: We will publish all non-emergency legislation to the website for five days, and allow the public to review and comment before the President signs it. NO WAY

Earmark reform: "[W]e need earmark reform. And when I'm president, I will go line by line to make sure that we are not spending money unwisely." Mo PORK, Mo PORK, Mo PORK. Um Um. Get U Some!!!

One would think that after 1 ½ years this guy would get something right. I mean if you shoot enough hoops, the law of probability says that eventually you will get one in. Accepting that, you would have to say that Obama’s continued Anti-America actions surely are purely intentional. Let me illustrate.

Today’s headlines shows that Obama has appointed a new Immigration and Customs Enforcement director in the person of Harold Hurtt. This man has a law enforcement background but favors “Sanctuary Cities” (cities where illegal immigrants can live without fear of arrest). So in his efforts to advance the cause of Immigration Reform, Obama appoints a director who plays hide-and-go-seek with illegals and they can call Olly-Olly-Ox-in-Free when they reach a “Sanctuary City”.

Also in today’s headlines a Congressional Committee has stayed up all night to put the finishing touches on a 2,000 page financial reform bill that Chairperson Chris Dodd said, “No one will know until this is actually in place how it works. But we believe we've done something that has been needed for a long time.” While I don’t speak double-speak I do know BS when I hear it and this one won’t be good for Americans if this is the way it begins. Since when did we start playing “Grab Bag Government”? Buy the bag folks and get your surprise. Come on it is only trillions of your dollars.

And in further news the Whitehouse and Google seem to be having an affair of the worst kind. Obama had promised no Lobbying of its power yet they have this interesting relationship with Google. Google was Obama’s third largest contributor to his presidential campaign which was 40 times the size of John Mc Cain’s. It would appear that D.C. is a sanctuary city for corruption.

Ok. No one can argue that the Uniform Code of Military justice leaves little room for personal opinions of leaders. That being said, it seems to me that General McChrystal knew exactly what he was saying and what he was not. Clearly he allowed, even tolerated his subordinates disrespect of Obama and Biden. He himself said little or nothing. In this I truly think he outsmarted the Administration and the Left at their own game.

Think about it. You are commander of an army and are told you have to win a war and hurt no one but the bad guys. The bad guys look the same as the “good guys” (tongue in cheek) in a primitive nation that doesn’t want us there. The Government of this country is corrupt and your retreater-in-chief has telegraphed his intentions to the enemy. This adds up to a war that no General can win. Alrighty then.

In comes the Leftwing Media and this general and his staff throw them just enough to make a juicy story. It is enough to be removed from the theatre of operations and send a message to the American people that our Nation is being led by a nitwit. Should he feel bad? I think not. America now knows without question what a weak leader is in the Whitehouse and how bad the war is really going to be. Better still this general walks away with the next one taking the heat for the failure when and if it happens. To me this is the best executed political maneuver of the decade and to make it perfect Obama took the bait. Had Obama just chastised McChrystal and sent him back to the front he would have looked forgiving, even magnanimous, and won the hearts and minds of those loving McChrystal. Oops! That would have required Obama to accept his humanness. True to form Obama punished his accusers and demonstrated that he cannot lead.

As for McChrystal, I think he can run for office or whatever. His is in no way damaged by this but rather respected all the more by the mass of Americans. Forget what the other Generals are now saying. Listen to what the troops and the everyday folks are saying. General McChrystal you are my friggin’ hero.

So who wins? We all do if we listen to the General and oust the one who lords over us.

Pakistan's Main Spy Agency Still Supports Taliban

Forgive the rapid fire Afghanistan, Taliban, Pakistan blogs but things happen so fast in our world it is hard to keep up. My article on Karzai and this one on the ISI should help you to see that it is naive to think we can make any real difference in these countries. If the Pakistanis are training the Taliban and we are sending billions to Pakistan, aren’t we in fact paying people to strengthen our enemies? Read this excerpt from the London School of economics:

But the report issued Sunday by the London School of Economics offered one of the strongest cases that assistance to the group is official ISI policy, and even extends to the highest levels of the Pakistani government.

“Pakistan’s apparent involvement in a double-game of this scale could have major geopolitical implications and could even provoke U.S. countermeasures,” said the report, which was based on interviews with Taliban commanders, former Taliban officials, Western diplomats and many others.

“Without a change in Pakistani behavior it will be difficult, if not impossible, for international forces and the Afghan government to make progress against the insurgency,” said the report, written by Matt Waldman, a fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.

If this doesn’t give you pause once again, then what will? As trusting as American’s are we have allowed ourselves to elect the most radical president in history. We have allowed him to destroy the very foundation of our Nation and we deny his loyalties to everything but the America we know and love.

There is no doubt but what the American Military can accomplish anything they are truly commissioned to do. Given the time, the tools and the commitment they will bring about the results desired. Hamstrung and hindered by political maneuvers will result in their death and defeat. Just this past Friday this statement threw our entire military under the bus.

You have to wonder how this plays into these Leftist’s plans.

Obama Duped! Karzai to join Taliban!

Behind Karzai is a long history of corruption and deceit. His brother is the Opium king of Afghanistan and Karzai’s honesty and allegiance have always been in question. Instead of the Obama administration recognizing their ally was the devil they instead put all their faith that this Satan would eliminate corruption. It would appear that foreign policy experience would be a good quality in a president; particularly when that president thinks he can win a war without bullets.

Moreover, Karzai signaled that he was upset with the Obama Administration just months ago after Barry met with him personally and hurt his feelings. After that meeting in April of this year, Karzai stated that he would align with the Taliban. He was corrupt and deceptive then and he never changed. The only change is the time. He was and is an evil and weak leader entrusted by our weak and possibly evil leader Obama. Perhaps he never learned in that “Christian” church of his that you cannot make a “silk purse out of a sow’s ear” or “to cast not your pearls before swine”.

All of this misplaced trust of Obama has only cost us months, lives, and suffering in and for Afghanistan. Before we didn’t know for sure who to trust; now our soldiers are in between the Devil and his Disciples. We have adopted this philosophy to change (notice CHANGE) the hearts and minds of the Afghani people. We want them to trust us, our ways, our words, and our efforts. We did tell them however that we won’t be there later to protect them and that the Taliban will return to lop their heads off but we did take the softer approach. In the meantime: Trust Us!

Fighting any war is a terrible undertaking. Fighting one that you cannot or will not win is simply insane. Fighting one where you want all sides to love you is beyond comprehension. Surely the phone has rang at 3am and gone unanswered. It rang again at 3:15am, and 3:30, and etc… Even now the ringer goes unsilenced. The American people have made a mistake and our Commander in Chief is anything but. He is an Entertainer in Chief, or a Partier in Chief, or even a Vacationer in Chief but he leads no one. He has failed at every opportunity to lead in government, in the gulf, in immigration, and in Governing. Sadly he is so narcissistic that when Barry looks behind him he imagines the millions that follow him but they are not there. He cannot see that for he knows that he is “the One”. Unfortunately he is the one who leads us into the ambush, the making of his own errors. Peril awaits us but still Barack pushes on.

Obama promised us 1 ½ years ago that he would bring swift action on the sanctions. Like so much of what he says that has turned out to be so much election rhetoric. In the meantime, Israel is in the crosshairs of the Islamic world and my impression is that this is not a stable condition for the region.

Israel has only one choice. They must defend themselves. If they lose one war they lose everything. We are not talking about a people with options and if you want to find out once and for all if Israel has the bomb just keep watching Obama-Imam. It is true that the “International Community” wants to know and wants to investigate Israel’s actions regarding the flotilla. Obama came out lukewarm on this and gave his de facto support. Israel on the other hand will have none of this. As far as they are concerned the flotilla was advised to turn away and chose to bring it to violence instead. If that is not clear to anyone then there is little that could be done to clear it up for you.

As any student of religion originating with Abraham can tell you, the descendents of Ishmael and the descendants of Isaac will always be at odds with each other: forever. I’m forever mystified by those who think that conflicts that have gone on for thousands of years can be resolved with peace talks. Do you not know that Palestinians are largely Muslim and by definition the only good Jew is a dead Jew? To the Muslim the only good Christian is a dead Christian. In fact, if you are not a Muslim, your death is desired and even encouraged by the Quran. Let us be clear that in Islam there is no room for criticism. Draw a cartoon or speak poorly of the prophet Muhammad and you will know the wrath of Islam.

This brings me to my final thoughts. What better nation to seize than one where you are Innocent until proven guilty, you have the right to remain silent, your freedoms are guaranteed by the Constitution which you seek to destroy, and where your religion allows you to lie. Technically Muslims are only allowed to lie under these conditions:

Muslims are allowed to only lie during battle, essentially in war. Muslims are allowed to lie in order to bring peace between two people, and also when a wife and husband are fighting with each other and they lie to bring about an end to their problems.

It would not take a lawyer to find that these rules are full of loopholes. If the truth be known Muslims are at war right now with the American way of life:

You know that Ahmadinejad wants the extermination of the Jews. You know this because he has said so. He said that, “Israel must be wiped off the map.” We all know this and accept this. We call him a madman because he states openly what he wishes to achieve. If you investigate what he actually said it translates, "The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time". So what we were told is slightly different than what was actually said though for most of us the meaning is clear and unchanged. Ahmadinejad wants Israelis gone, dead, even wiped from the pages of time. Why is it that when I tell you that Obama wants the same for America that your recoil in disbelief. Even if you do not doubt me can you say that you believe me?

Most Americans are trusting and peaceful people. For them it is difficult if not impossible to believe such horrible things about any person and certainly more so about our president. While it is true that I cannot quote Obama has ever having said that he wants the destruction of America, I can see what those in his past have said. The people in Obama’s life have spoken his ideals for him and his actions over the last year and one-half bear witness against him. Who is it that mocks the voices of the American people who cry out to be heard? Because those who cry out lack skin pigments do they not have a say in their destinies? Not to Obama. Obama is deaf to the desires of Conservatives of every color and especially to White people.

Who in Obama’s past would deny Whites of their voices? Certainly Louis Farrakhan would and without a doubt the Rev. Jeremiah Wright would. Both of these men are anti White and anti Semitic. The only thing they are pro on is “Black”, African, and/or Islam. When Obama proposes any change it is somehow positioned to take from the “Whites” and to give to the “Blacks”. This is as obvious as Ahmadinejad’s anti-Israel stance but Americans don’t want to believe it and “White” America is so slow to believe it that I fear that the deed will be done and irreversible before anyone can say Bar-racist Hu-cares O-blacks only.

I do not say this easily nor without evidence. The proof has been written time and time again and remains unchanged: Obama seeks to Fundamentally change America and that Change is about taking from “Whitey” and giving to the Blacks. Have you not read his writings and seen the hatred he has for “White” America. Sure he can hobnob with the rock stars and celebrities but those day too will come to an end. America! Do you not think that the only thing standing between Israel and the hatred of Iran is the might of America? Have you seen Obama confirm or deny that support for Israel? If that is to be the future of Israel, what makes you think that you will fare any better? These are the words of Obama’s history:

God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. There is no loyalty to me or to you or to America in these words yet they come from Obama’s very church; not the one he has now as he has none. We know that he has more than once had to give up his trips to Indonesia because the issues of America are inconvenient to him and an interruption to his travels. Can you not see his “Luke-warmness” to Christianity and love of all things revolutionary or Islamic? Has he not bowed to all manner of Islamic pressure and denied his own fellow Americans? Be not deceived, Obama is to America what you know in your hearts that he is. Yet, you deny your intellect this valuable information and operate believe in the best without reason. Wake up! I beg you. Wake up!

When bizarre becomes the norm, what’s the new bizarre?

Years ago I remember hearing some disturbing figures on what percentage of Americans were technically neurotic. The numbers were so high that neurotic was actually becoming the new normal. So if Neurotic becomes normal, what does it take to be "Psychotic"? My point here is not to discuss psychiatric labels but to talk about the bizarre state of thinking in America these days. You see, the more bizarre the behavior by teachers, and politicians, and public figures; the more accustomed to it we become over time. This process happens to all people in all cultures and strata of life. Only when you step back and find something fixed to measure things by can you really tell how bizarre things are. Measure these things against your reality and see what I mean.

For instance:

• The Whitehouse is currently suspected of violating federal laws to alter the outcomes of elections by bribing officials.
• The Attorney General of the U.S. dropped all charges against the New Black Panthers that were involved in voter tampering in Philadelphia.
• Arizona wrote a law protecting the rights of their citizens
• LA Schools want to teach how wrong the Arizona law is to all students in the district
• The DOJ went to Arizona to try and strong arm their officials into dropping the law
• The leader of the DOJ, Eric Holder, helped Bill Clinton pardon Marc Rich of illegal arms trade deals with Iran and of Owing the American people $48 million in back taxes.
• The president of the U.S. disrespects the citizenry by calling them “Tea Baggers” and not inviting a single one for a chat
• That same president has near bi-weekly meetings with the president of the SEIU union who in several cases attacked Tea Party members
• In response to Arizona’s plight with her borders, Obama sends 1200 National Guard troops to provide administrative support but not to actually be involved in securing the border
• The United States debt passed 13 Trillion which means your unborn grandchildren now owe more than $42,000.00 if they were born right now.
• Within months America will have to sell $2 Trillion of debt to foreigners and there really aren’t that many buyers.
• The Obama administration sided with the UN Security council to condemn Israel’s actions in protecting itself from the “Flotilla of Peaceniks”
• Tax Cheat Rahm Emmanuel was again behind on taxes. This time it was property taxes and not a Turbo Tax error.
• Mexico is opening a Consular office on Catalina Island and offering Illegal Immigrants Identification cards. There is possible links to drug smuggling and trading in illegal immigrants from the island.
• Obama met with Gov. Jan Brewer but refused to speak about specific solutions to the border problem and even declined to make any commitment to her

This list could go on endlessly. As you can see that there is no “Common” sense to any of the things that seem to be happening. In fact you could say that it is all bizarre. So bizarre has become so normal that it takes extraordinarily bizarre just to make headlines and not even headlines for the mainstream media. Excuse me America while I try to find a word for this new found norm spreading across our nation. I can’t find one. What word do you use?

In that regard you have countless Millions of living Americans who watch your bravery every day. We are inspired by you and put our hopes in you that as a leader others might take your example and follow in your steps.

Truly it is a trying time for Arizona and for America as well. So many wish to transform this nation into something that Patriots loathe. For your courage we admire you and relish the efforts you are taking to put America back on course. Thank you.

…and as soon as I sell you the Brooklyn Bridge I‘m going to convince you that the Whitehouse did nothing wrong in their dealings with congressman Joe Sestak. The Obama folks put out a story today that stinks worse than unwelcome house guests. The way the Whitehouse spins this yarn is to say that Bill Clinton was to speak to Joe at the request of Rahm Emmanuel about a job that paid nothing. To get this great job for nothing all he had to do was “nothing”. Actually he had to drop out of the Senate race in Pennsylvania so good ole Arlen Specter could run uncontested. Yes, for dropping out of the Senate race he would get this wonderful job as an advisor on an intelligence board. Excuse me. You couldn’t be very “Intelligent” to take that deal. So here we have the Obama folks taking two for dupes: Sestak and the rest of America.

Needless to say the Republicans are calling for an Independent investigation of the matter. Seems they don’t think that this story passes the “smell test”. Who knows whether they will get it and while we may never know the whole truth, or in Obama’s case any of the truth, it is just impossible to think that good ole Bill Clinton had a harmless conversation with Joe and that’s that. Even if old Bill had that conversation with Joe, what do you think it cost old Barry to get him to do it? I’d say there had to be a whole lot of groveling going on. Add to this the odd coincidence that this is the second time Obama has been associated with political bribery. It almost makes one think that old Rob Blagojevich might just have been really making a deal with someone in Obama’s camp. Rahm was always suspect in that deal.

It also seemed real convenient that the Whitehouse released their tale while Barry was off to the gulf. I am sure that seeing the devastation will help him get perspective on his failings over the last month. Oh well, vacation time again so it is off to Chicago. The president needs to recharge his Chicagoland connections and after all it is his Mecca. I shouldn’t be so sarcastic but our past America loving presidents spent Memorial Day honoring our fallen at Arlington. Perhaps while he is in Chicago he can attend services at his old church. They still think that Christianity is the tool the White Man used to enslave them.

Something else that needs selling and that is how bad Arizona’s new law is. True to his word for once ole Barry has got the Department of Justice telling the Arizonan government how concerned they are with this law. Forgive me if I am wrong but you don’t sick your dogs on Arizona but you would challenge their law in court. Of course they can’t do that because they would get their butts kicked. So they send in the legal eagles to try and scare Arizona into being more afraid of the Government than the drug cartels. After all, the DOJ has the full support of the President of Mexico.

One of the most disturbing things I have had to do recently is to figure out how to protect what little money I have. I have my 401k and my rollover IRA account as does my wife. Like most people we have checking and savings and not that much of either. Fortunately our debt is low but at our age we really need to hang on to what we have. Most Americans have suffered tremendously in the stock market and even conservative Mutual Funds have been big losers at least twice in the past 10 years. In the last month the DOW has dropped about 1,000 points which basically puts us back to where we were a year ago. So you might ask yourself how this affect you and what should you do.

Well I am neither investor nor broker and have no special knowledge. What I do know is that everything I read says that the American dollar is in jeopardy. I suspect that those who frequent this blog probably already intuitively suspect this but what to do. Well it seems that the big kids, the ones with lots and lots of money, the ones who made like $5million last year (right Barry), these people have advisers. Who do you have? If you are like me you have the words of someone on the other end of the phone if that. That being the case I have come up with an investment strategy. It may sound silly but I only invest in sure fire winners. That should get your attention.

Who does the grocery shopping in your house? Ask them what has gone up the most in the last year. If those things have a shelf life of months or years, stock up. Figure it this way. Let’s say you love applesauce and that you eat a jar a month. If the expiration date is months or a year away and you find it on special I buy it. I buy about 75% of what I think I can use. Worst case scenario is that I will lose my job and end up eating applesauce for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Even if the price goes down will it be worse that my stocks. I doubt it.

Now I gave a very simple example here because no one family would match the needs of others. What you see as something of value may not meet another’s needs. My rule is I have to eat it, need it, or be able to sell or trade it to someone else. I guess in a way you could call me an urban survivalist. Don’t get me wrong, I am not preparing for Armageddon here but I’m not denying the possibility either. Now my son sells guns and ammunition where he works. For more than a year now people have been hoarding ammunition. I asked him about the reason for this and he really doesn’t know. Reasons stated are fear of unavailability later to fears of increase in crime. I thought it over and reasoned that owning some is better that none.

Other things I buy are Paper Towels, Tylenol or Generics, Bath and Laundry soaps, toilet paper, and Spam. My kids love to make fun that I have a half-dozen cans of Spam. They hate the stuff. I like it and it has a shelf life of a couple of years. Now I buy all of these things on sale. If it isn’t a good price I don’t buy it. This is not about spending, it is about saving. I am buying things at a good price now that I think will be higher later. If you look around you I’ll bet you can find a few things that will stretch your dollar. With little or no pay raise in sight, Congress on a spending spree, and the World’s economies collapsing it might just be worth a little thought. If you come up with a good idea perhaps you would share it with the rest of us. Just in case you are wondering, I have enough toilet paper to make it past Halloween and still TP a couple of houses.

Oh yeah. The closest thing to cash in a 401K is a CD. I don't make much but I probably won't lose unless America goes under. I may change my mind after I am out of toilet paper 'cause I expect to outlast Congress.

It’s All Broken: Congress, Presidency, Courts…

It has been years in the “Breaking” but I think that the official diagnosis is we’re broke, broken, and continuing to break. This opinion comes from the observation that there is “No One” in government that is paying one whit of attention to what the people want and need. As America flips and flops like an oil coated fish gasping for its last breath, government is busy protecting itself. The Republicans are trying to keep the Tea Party from having an effect on the Party and Democrats are looking to tax oil, energy, manufactured goods and anything else they can.

Obama has proven that he has no use for the “Truth” or “America” as we have known it. Even now he hopes to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and fragment the US Military. The military has already advised that this is not the time to address this issue. After all Mr. Obama, who cares what the morale is of the majority of our fighting men and women is as long as you appease those who have decided to honor your promises to? You have made promises to All Americans but as of today you have not kept or have broken all but a few. The only thing I have seen for sure is your “Fundamental Change” of America. We don't want it.

Arizona has passed a law to get the federal government to act and the only action from that goverment has been ridicule and lies. The administration sticks to its talking points and refuses to engage Arizona’s problem on even the most basic level. Worse yet the problem is not just illegal Mexican Immigrants but rather Millions of Immigrants from every nation on earth who have come on vacation or whatever and never gone home. This includes your garden variety terrorist as well as others who have no investment financially or emotionally in this nation. Still there’s no action from Obama. In fact the only real action that Obama’s folks have taken is for ICE to say they may not take any prisoners that Arizona arrests. How arrogant and unreceptive can a Government be? We might as well be asking for China to give us Tibet. We would stand a much better chance than asking our government to do its job.

It is no wonder that there is an anti-incumbent sentiment in America. The truth is we want you all out of there, including you Mr. Obama, and we can’t get it done fast enough to suit us. In the meantime we are dealt blow after blow of government incompetence, neglect, corruption, and disregard. Worse still we Americans feel our liberties and freedoms being stripped from us. One would think that only an elite few in government and a select group of citizens matter. One would be very close to the truth if “One” thought that.

Socialism or Bust...

Well there is some good news and some bad news: you decide which is which. The wheels are starting to come off the Obama “Yes We Can” bus. Yes, people in his administration have been saying stupid things and acting incompetently. They have been doing that all along but now even Barry is becoming embarrassed by it. In a totally related story it has been determined that never is a Rat more dangerous than when backed into a corner. Science has determined that when a Rat’s primary goal gets blocked that they will exhibit all manner of bizarre behaviors before giving up. Okay. You caught me. Both stories are about our Rat-In-Chief. Yes. It appears that the “anointed one” and his administration is faltering, he is scrambling, and Americans are rapidly waking from their Kool-Aid stupors. Sadly, many awake in time to witness him putting his last few pieces of evil into place, and that in a panicked pace.

Notice also that Obama is slowing his support of struggling incumbent democrats and beginning to occupy himself with other items of mischief. I mean, in the past if you waved a microphone and a camera lens past the man he was on it like a duck on a June bug. In all fairness the best thing for most politicians these days is to distance themselves from Obama. Barry is turning out to be political kryptonite. This was predicted months ago yet the Congress tossed off America’s wishes for a presidential pat on the head. Indeed while moderates and conservatives were pleading with Congress for representation their voices went unheeded. Perhaps our congress is going to get that “Fundamental Change” they so longed for.

However this shyness towards the lights of the media seems almost out of place. The last time Barry gave a press conference seems like just a year ago and all the questions appeared staged. Oh well. Now he has the US version of Pravda and he can create his own limelight. Of course his official opinion was that he did nothing to keep his “illegal immigrant Auntie” here who had already received her deportation orders. Instead she has been living in public housing on our tab and now has miraculously been granted asylum. You would have to be in an asylum to believe that Obama didn’t manipulate that one. What is so bad is that Obama lies so often one never knows whether to ever believe him. I tend to err on the side of “No friggin’ way. He is the most practiced liar I have ever witnessed.”

As of now a Tea Party backed candidate has won the GOP nomination in Kentucky. Rand Paul, son of Ron Paul, has been declared the winner in the Kentucky Republican primary. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania is bumped from the Democratic ticket so I suppose he will have to settle for an Obama appointment. Blanch Lincoln has a runoff election in Arkansas and that won’t get her out of the woods with the Tea Party. Democratic candidates are scrambling like roaches with the light flipped on trying to pull out their elections. The White House seems eerily silent. Normally that is the way I like my Obama administration but then he is like a kid in some ways: If he is playing too quietly you know he is up to mischief. We do know that he has his hands full with trying to get another anti-gun, anti-military, pro-abortion, softball player on the Supreme Court. Right now you can bet the White House is in full “Coach Elena” mode helping her learn what her thinking is and how to speak for minutes and not say anything.

As for the rest of the news it is all good. It just depends on your perspective. If you are a freedom loving patriot, don’t blink.

The Pot calls the Kettle Mr. President

In possibly the most disconnected and sanctimonious statement yet Obama said that it was time for people to quit finger pointing and blaming others. He was able to do this by pointing the finger at BP, Halliburton, the Federal Government and others. He did not accept any personal responsibility. As Finger-Pointer-in-Chief he is exempt from utilizing his own wisdom. Just take Obama’s advice as it is in great shape having never been used and only spouted from his lips for the benefit of the masses. If this man would think about what he says he surely wouldn’t speak such stupidity. He has blamed George Bush for nearly everything and the rest on the Tea Partiers and Fox News. He almost apologized once but caught himself in mid-honesty and saved the day with yet another self aggrandizing speech.

More amazing still is that some 40% of America still stand by this man and most of those if not all would vote for him as president again. No wonder our nation is in such peril. Understand that it is okay to make a mistake. We all do it (present President excluded). We admit out mistakes and learn from them (again the president is not referred to here) and move on. So one has to wonder when their leader has been caught in lie after lie, political strong-arming, and Constitutional manipulation, just why do these continue to follow him?

Now while Obama was saying how BP and others need to quit blaming each other I am not thinking that he mentioned that he was the single largest recipient of BP cash donations ever. He might have said that during his bashing of the “Cozy Political Relationships” tongue lashing telling how it was all going to change. I think he also missed saying how he and his administration had been giving waivers to oil companies drilling in the gulf: BP included. They often say the best defense is a good offense. Apparently Obama adheres to that philosophy. Mr. Obama please know that a great number of Americans are “offended” by your actions or the lack there of.

It is unfair to put the blame totally on Obama. He has others in his administration that have the “do as I say and not as I do” philosophy. Attorney General Holder has condemned the Arizona immigration bill and hasn’t even read it; all ten pages of it. Don’t lawyers generally read stuff before declaring a position on it? He wants to protect illegal immigrants and legal immigrants from profiling. Then Mr. Holder decided that issuing Miranda rights to Americans who may be terrorists wasn’t necessarily a good idea. Hello Mr. Attorney General! Do you plan on “Mirandizing” Tea Party patriots and other protesters that you deem to be anti-Obama-administration or are you going to treat them as enemy combatants?

It is all about race. La Raza means the Race. The nation of Islam is all about Race. Black Liberation theology is all about Race. Rich man poor man is all about Race. The only ones who don’t get it are white people. White people have been bludgeoned with accusations of racism that they are the only ones who don’t get it that IT IS ALL ABOUT RACE.

Obama was elected the first Black President. Sotomayor is a Latina SCOTUS. Kagan is a Jewis Scotus. So and so is a ???? something. It is on the every form you fill out it is everywhere: RACE, RACE, RACE. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton make their money off of Race. Louis Farrakhan says that White people are not humans. Barack Obama Makes fun of Tea Party protestors and that is all about Race. How do I know? They tell me at every turn. White people are bad, evil, racist, hate mongers and Black and Latinos need to come together to undo the wrongs Whites have done.

As for me I am sick to death of it. I have given in to “poor me” for so long that I now believe it is an incurable disease. I have watched as we have thrown sympathy at it. That didn’t work. We tried genuine compassion and that didn’t work. We have thrown billons of dollars at these problems only to see them get worse. No matter what White people do we cannot win. There will always be race baiters and weak minds to follow them.

Listen up. To my knowledge my family nor my ancestors never had a slave of any color. I owe nothing to anyone. I have respected and encouraged, supported and worked to help all races to achieve without consideration of color. I have donated and prayed for all the people of this nation. Nevertheless I am white. I will never know what you are going through nor where you have been. Neither will you know me for who I am. Those of you racist Blacks and Hispanics who want to hate me will just have to do that. I am done with enabling your racist behaviors by avoiding confrontation with you. I have eaten all of your hatred that I intend to. It is you that have backed me into this corner where I feel I have no choice but to stand. Well hear this.

Come to me with an open hand and I will shake it and welcome you as a friend. Come to me with a clenched fist and bitterness on your lips and you will find me less than hospitable. Your self-pity has destroyed your sense of self worth and importance until you now feel that you may abuse me to somehow correct the wrongs done to you. I am not your enemy. I am an American. Put away your hatred and let’s be brothers or show yourself at last for who you are and let me see the evil intentions you have. Even in this I am telling you this in love but be not deceived.

My tolerance is not a “Kick Me” sign and you should not interpret it as that. Yes. I know that many of you long for the taste of White Peoples blood to soothe your woes. Let me assure you that you will find it neither refreshing nor easily obtained. We have contemplated long about your sufferings and have done what we can to remove them. We whites now believe that you are insatiable in your desires for recognition and compensation. While the majority of White people will not speak out do not be deceived; they are prepared. Sure we fear the worst and pray and prepare for the best. This direction people of color are choosing is not of our doing. You may look to your leaders and to the dividers like Obama and his administration.

If Mexico, Africa, Central America or some other place is where your loyalties lies may I suggest that you go peaceably there. Save the world the unneeded hatred you dispense and the troubles that are sure to follow. As I see it you have a choice to make and we have none. We have given until we are given out. Choose wisely as this is not some romantic fantasy. This hatred that you are spewing will turn back on you. You know who you are and you know the truth. Accept it. We have nothing more to give.

Franklin Graham was not allowed at the pentagon prayer service. She doesn’t have cable and heard the news about Rev. Graham on the Focus on the Family radio broadcast. As I consider these 2 separate events I realize the disconnect in America is huge. Some mainstream media have been tugging at the heart strings for the Times Square bomber because he never realized the American dream. Nashville is under 10 feet of water as are numerous counties and nothing is on the news. BP and the oil spill are all over the news but the Administration’s slow response time goes almost without mention and a man stabs a bus driver to death while the bus is en route.

Considering this first paragraph I would say we are well on the way to the violence in Greece. Today I watched video of Mexican students in California snatching flag from a handicapped man in a wheelchair. I think it was a Mexican flag but a from a guy in a wheelchair. I read that the kids who were sent home from school for wearing patriotic colors received and apology from the principal. Too bad they were advised to stay home from school for fear of violence from the Latino kids. Oh yes. Two of the kids are half Mexican.

So let me summarize. The dollar is falling faster the Twin Towers of NYC on 9/11 and the stock market graph looks like a heartbeat on life support. A Christian preacher is not welcome to pray at the Pentagon because some Muslims don’t like his message and the MSM was hoping that the Time Square bombing incident was a Tea Party member. Add to that the people of Tennessee are suffering big time and none of them have flood insurance because they aren’t even in a flood plain. No news here folks. Move on. While I haven’t heard why the guy stabbed the city bus driver. I can’t wait to see the coverage of that because you sure as heck aren’t going to see any coverage of Mexican kids molesting a handicapped guy.

Perhaps by next week the Patriotic kids can return to their school. Too bad that what they will be taught will be some half truths and history redacted for convenience sake.
In answer to Fox News’ question I think it needs no answer. I think it was purely rhetorical as they see it coming plain as day. Yep. The conservatives will get the blame but the liberals have already started the violence, just no one is covering it. By the way, though no one is talking much about it the government just took over the Internet. They will say it isn’t so. Blog while you can because freedom of speech is about to become an historic concept.

Okay so now kids can’t wear anything American looking at school because it might offend students of Mexican heritage. If you are no more American than to be offended by the Ole Glory then you are not an American but a Mexican living in America. Really it is that simple. People would like to complicate issues but the more we divide ourselves into racial and national groups the more divided we become. Most official documents in America ask you to choose your race. Choosing race puts you into a group which has the effect of putting up hidden barriers if only in your mind. I myself am white. What? I am beige. My ancestors came from all over Europe and there is sufficient reason to believe that some other races are in the mix as well. My dad used to say we are Heinz 57 referring to the diversity of our heritage. Don’t call me white. I am an American and I hope if you are living here you are one too.

Sure it is great to love where you came from but those people are dead and those places have changed. You are here. What is most important are those living around you: your husband or wife, your parents, your children and grandchildren and the things that this great nation can help you find. Notice I say, “Help you find”. This nation is not a place for things to be given to you. Sure we have been doing that for years and those that are still on the taking in are slaves of their minds. Black Americans have been badly treated for years but most recently the abuse has come by not allowing them the reward of actualizing their dreams provided through their own efforts. Whether it was guilt or pity or whatever, America has created generations of Americans who don’t have a clue what the rewards of life are. Their rewards come on the first of the month and are never enough. It wouldn’t matter how much they received, takers only know taking: it is a law of the human spirit. In the same way racists only know race and haters only know hate.

I know that there is a big push to give even more to the takers by taking from the haves and giving to the “have less’s”. I say "have less's" because in America there are few “Have Nots”. Most of those folks have learned how to sell their freedom to the poverty pimps and race hustlers. Everyone knows their names. Their make their living and gain their power from the manufactured misery of others. We have one of those in the Whitehouse right now. Obama is planning on taking from the rich and giving to the poor. Excuse me? Just who thinks that Obama is not one of the rich? Of course he is rich; filthy rich. He made over 5 million dollars last year yet he likes to strut like a brother in the hood and lay down some street jive. The man is “da man” and he is just a black man trying to keep the poor man down whatever his color. Poor is poor. Rich is rich. Black ain’t nothing to the brother nor is white, Latino, or anything else. It is all about green. Obama is about Obama and his green money is color blind. He could care what color of folks the money comes from. He just uses brown and black people to get it done. He has to manufacture some misery so that he can come up with the cure. All hail the "Great Obama": righer of wrongs and savior of the multitudes.

So here we are all in this together. In our spirits we know that we are all the same. We inherently know that color, race, nationality is not where it is. The where it is, is the human experience and our relationships with others. Still because there are leaders and followers we so easily allow the leaders tell us what we should think, how we should feel, and what life should be. As for me my life is what I make of it. I can have a bad day or a good one. It is up to me. I can hate you or love you. It is a choice. I can love America or think about folks long dead for my own self worth. It is up to me. For me I choose freedom. I will not be a slave to the thoughts and ideals of others and I will fight for your right to have the same: That is America. If that works for you, you are in the right spot. If it doesn’t, you have bigger problems than kids with red, white, and blue T-shirts.

Obama: Caught Using the “N” Word?

Probably! He definitely uses the “T” word and he says it in the same way some bigots might use the “N” word. He loves to use “Tea Bagger”. To most in the liberal press, the administration, and the Congress the “T” word means “Bigoted White People”.

Let’s look at the “N” word for a moment. The “N” word evolved from various origins and generally means black in all of its variations. So offensive is the “N” word that English speakers feel uncomfortable learning Portuguese, Spanish, French, Swedish, German and Latin for a form of Negro appears in all these languages. Sensitive people are reluctant to say these words. Café Negro is black coffee. It is hard to say that at first if you are sensitive to others. After a time you learn that you it is perfect and proper to speak another’s language correctly.

Now back to the “T” word. This word has no origins and so the rules dictated that the meaning comes from its common usage. That’s how ain’t got into the dictionary and that is how the “T” word will enter the lexicon. Whenever you hear this word roll off of the tongues of pundits, press, and politicians you will generally hear is spoken with a tone of disapproval. The term “Tea Bagger” is used in prisons of a vile act of Sodomy, often done under duress. Nearly all of the uses of the “T” word have an implied “Rich White People” usage. Often it is stated exactly that way. So this word has a vile sexual and a blatant racial slur associated with it. You would think that a Black president who undoubtedly experienced racial prejudice would be more sensitive to members of the “Tea Party” when referring to them. So much for thinking!

Thinking can lead you many places and I am now thinking how Black people will often call themselves by the “N” word. I have often heard one black say to another, “You are my “N””. It still shocks me and I think it is wrong. Words have lives and the more life you breathe into a word the longer and more powerfully it lives. As such, Tea Party members and those whom refer to them should immediately cease from calling them the “T” word.

So I say to members of the press, to the politicians, to the pundits and to all who read this: Stop the Insensitivity to Tea Party members. Calling them the “T” word shows your lack of kindliness and facility with the English language. May I suggest you call them Americans or protestors or neighbors? It is a sad state of affairs when those at the top, those in power, and those responsible for words have such a high disregard for their usage. Shame on you and you know who you are.

Barack Hypocrite Oblameless!

ou have just got to love it: “President Barack Obama on Saturday pressed Congress for swift action on measures to restrict political advertising by corporations and labor unions, saying that “no less than the integrity of our democracy” is at stake.” Okay I know that I was never again going to be surprised by the hypocrisy or lies of this administration but they got me again. Obama claiming to want political donations controlled is like dropping Little Red Riding Hood at the wolfs door. The man takes$1million dollars from Goldman Sachs and a similar amount from the UAW and countless other special interests and now he wants “Change”. The real deal is that up until now he was the only wolf in the room. Now he is afraid of what wolves may be competing with him in 2012. Perhaps he won’t have 10 or 20 times as much cash to spend as his opponents. How sad!

Notice that he said “no less than the integrity of our democracy” is at state. No if that is not special. Obama is now talking like he is one of us. Truly he is slippery as he has a skin for every situation. When he is with blacks he talks black and walks black and is just one of the folks. He even be saying stuff different. Then he becomes whatever he needs to be for the next audience. Now he is trying to become American. How funny.

We all know that Obama’s idea of a fair election is like Saddam Hussein’s idea of an election: where he gets all the votes and the voters worship him. In my view that is soon to be the sort of government we will soon have if BHO continues unchecked. Of course now that he has another Supreme Court Justice to supplant this little idea of his will just have perfect timing. He has already shamed the Supreme Court by his publicly lambasting them.

If I were ever going to ask, “Have you no shame, no decency, no sense of respect for others,” I will waste no more breath on him. The above and his latest advice from his speech and his advice from his speech in Michigan say it all. Yes in Michigan he encouraged those who listen to Beck or Limbaugh or other conservatives to check out the Huffington post or the NYT. Apparently “We the People” need to be broader in our finding of news. Doesn’t that make you want to be just like Barack Hypocrite Oblameless?

Talkin’ and Bloggin’ and Waitin’ and Fearin’…

This title may remind you of a song by Dusty Springfield “Wishin' and hopin' and thinkin' and prayin'…” In that song Dusty talks about how to get the love of a man. It is a great song and when I hear it I reminded by how we are going about the rebirth of America all wrong. Dusty’s song is filled with action. Our song is filled with whining.

Then only action these days is coming from the Tea Party and a few brave Military men who are risking personal peril for saying they don’t recognize Obama’s right to be president or commander in chief. Another serviceman is “Facebooking” at the risk of being punished by the military. Outside of these examples I really don’t hear of anything that is being done. Everyone knows what needs doing but no one wants to say it. Just these words are enough to scare most people off of this blog and I haven’t said anything yet. I’m just talkin’ and bloggin’ and waitin’…

The reason for this is because what we are doing as a people and as a society is “Fearin’”. We have to contend with “Political Correctness” which is just another way of saying that you should think and feel certain things and if you do you should never speak them. Well, I happen to think that Obama is a “Racist” and that what he promotes is a racist agenda. I refuse to be the slave of “Fearin’”. Obama had barely wrinkled the sheets on the Whitehouse bed when he accused a “White” officer of being stupid and that “without the facts”. The church he attended for 20+ years is clearly racist. Never have I seen so many uses of the word “Black”; black people, black leaders, black business, black community, black values, black institutions…etc. There is so much Black here there is no room for anything but Black. This is only one reason why I think Obama is a racist. I also believe his politics are largely designed to take from “Whites” and give to the Blacks. This may or may not be Politically correct speech but I think it is true. Redistribution of the wealth is more likely to benefit Blacks in America than whites. Just talkin’ and bloggin’ here…

I also believe Obama is a Dictator. Everything I can find on the man shows that he will not be assuaged by anyone and must have his own way on everything. You cannot disagree with him as you will be excluded: He has excluded republicans, conservatives, tea party protestors, reporters and TV networks, and etc. So often the man is rude to those asking him questions. He will bore them, talk over them, become effusive, and deny them. He is like a spoiled child in the Presidency. What the hell were we thinking to elect this emotionally underdeveloped person? To make it worse he had “No, None, Nada, Zip” experience. Excuse me I just had an attack of ???????

So here we find ourselves in the “Fearin’” stage. Actually we have be afraid the whole time but now were afraid of our own fears. We are afraid that we made a big mistake. We fear that November cannot come soon enough. We fear being found out that we believe that our country has been seized by a communist, racist, fascist, community organizing dictator who will destroy all hope of America as we have known it. We have spoken in hush tones and behind closed doors until now we are growing louder and coming out into the public realm and saying “Throw the Bum Out”.

Now if you have made it this far on this blog you are a seeker, a believer, a patriot, or a spy. To all of you I say that we have not come this far to be defeated by fear. In the 60’s Arlo Guthrie wanted all of America to stand up and sing a chorus of “Alice’s Restaurant”. Arlo was anti-war but his point that if the people unite and all stand at once they are unstoppable. India’s, Mahatma Gandhi proved this very thing. Read these words from him:

We believe that it is the inalienable right of the Indian people, as of any other people, to have freedom and to enjoy the fruits of their toil and have the necessities of life, so that they may have full opportunities of growth. We believe also that if any government deprives a people of these rights and oppresses them the people have a further right to alter it or abolish it.

Sound familiar? These people marched unarmed against British marksmen who fired on them briefly before coming to their senses and refusing to fire on and unarmed people. On other occasions the British beat the Indians with clubs until the soldiers themselves became exhausted and ceased the beatings. And what is it that we have to fear? The American Military? I think not. The police? Perhaps a few. Obama? Not at all. If we march in sufficient numbers not even equally a majority but purely a dedicated, single-minded, group none could deafeat or dissuade us. Surely America awaits her rescuers. It is true that Gandhi was arrested and imprisoned. In fact he was imprisoned so often that he called the prisons “Her Majesty’s Hotels”. Today we seem to be lacking our Gandhi but I know he or she is out there. Ultimately Gandhi and his movement won only to result in his assassination. Will someone sound the trumpet.

Now I have not even mentioned Obama's pro-Muslim, anti-Israel approach. This has already become too much talk and not enough action.

America hear me! We have no time for Talkin’ and Bloggin’ and Waitin’ and Fearin’… Obama is “Marchin”.

Its About Jobs Stupid!

Wall Street and Banks “too big to fail” have certainly wreaked havoc on Americans over this past year. Washington responded by doling out billions upon billions of dollars to these outfits and then setting course for Healthcare Reform. Everyone knows they managed to wriggle that slimy legislation past the people and now Obama wants to go back after the banks. It is almost as if he were clueless. Don’t think that for one minute for clueless he is not. He wants “swift” action on legislation to in effect “take over” the banks. It is always swift. Hurry hurry hurry he cries out. He needs to add the Banks to his side of the Monopoly board and by all means hurry.

Confirm my SCOTUS and pass this Healthcare now. Do it now. Don’t read it just pass it. Now! We need more legislation and we need it fast. If you folks in the Senate can’t confirm my people fast enough just take a break and I will slip them past using sleight of hand politics. By the way “World” do you not see what a great thing I did with the “Nuclear” jamboree and notice how fast? Aren’t I special? Never mind that Americans are suffering, struggling, and losing hope over the economy and joblessness. Don't expect from Obama as he is out campaigning for radicals.

If it weren’t for the fact that Obama has never once veered from his devious ambitions I might think he was clueless. He is not clueless. He is driven. To be sure he has pressed toward the goals of huge government, even toward a fascist government at the expense of everything else. Case in point: Barry knows Americans need jobs. He also knows that the longer the Jobless are on the dole, the more they will need government to help them. They will need checks and training for new jobs. Doubtless but what they will be government jobs as that is the only thing growing now.

It is within the human spirit to make a difference, to contribute, and to be part of something bigger. Anything short of this destroys the human spirit. Americans need jobs. Jobs are what will make them feel that they do make a difference. Jobs will help their spirits and give hope to their families. Jobs will make Americans proud. In the meantime BHO will focus on everything but jobs. He needs Americans to be needy. The needier they become the more control he has over them.

As for me, Barack has nothing I want short of his removal from the Whitehouse. He is bad for America in the worst possible ways. He is divisive and arrogant. He is a bad loser and a worse winner. He regards the Constitution with contempt and the laws of this land as vehicles to be manipulated. Congress is a necessary evil to do his dirty work as he plays to the camera. The media is a tool for Obama to use as he sees fit and America is nothing more than a nation for his radical experiments. He does as he wishes and dares anyone to stop him. He mocks everything good and decent in this nation and brings shame with his handling of our allies. He loves the sound of his own voice and wants everyone on earth to love it as well.

What is important to Obama will generally be the thing that he wants and not what the people want. If they want Jobs he gives them unemployment checks. For smaller government he gave us a bigger and more powerful IRS. For spending cuts he has given us record spending and debt. For national security he has assured the world we won't do anything. For sanctions on Iran he has given us a year of fancy footwork and doubletalk. For leadership he has mocked the people. Yep. I'd say he Obama is just about nothing that anyone wants.

Since what I've said might as well have been spoken into the wind, let me just say that right now: it's about jobs Stupid!

Bill Clinton advises Conservatives!

Don’t you just love it that Bill the Perfidious President with his Pants around his knees can moralize and advise American on the proper ways to feel and behave. After all he was only involved with real-estate scams and countless charges of impropriety. He paid women “hush money” for no reason at all and used Arkansas State Troopers as pimps. Fortunately Monica Lewinsky brought this all to a head: so to speak. I will never think of cigars the same.

Add to that that he talked of “Right Wing Conspiracies” the entire time he was in the Whitehouse and you really have someone to respect and listen to. Oh yes, Willy and Hillary gave meaning to honesty and integrity. Bill, you even hauled off the people’s furniture from the Whitehouse when you left. This vulgar and profane man would have been fired by any reputable company in the United States or elsewhere but due to the lack of fortitude he was allowed to continue shaming America.

Then there was that thing where Bill rented out the Whitehouse bedrooms to foreigners and high bidders to raise money for the Democratic Party. The DNC received a tidy $5.2 million dollars from Bills little B&B enterprise and some of the greatest creeps on earth stayed there and the likes of Richard Dreyfus, Jane Fonda, Barbara Streisand. You might note that Blanche Lambert Lincoln, yes the sellout Senator from Arkansas has also slept there. How cozy. Blanche how is that re-election campaign going for you?

Yep. As one to the two men impeached by the House of Representatives only to be spared by the Senate, this is a man we should value the opinions of. Yes and then he moved off to Harlem to be near his bride only to pay the highest rent ever for an office all on the people’s dime. He started off with an office in the Carnegie Hall Tower at $739,000.00 a year and only after the nation cried out did he get it down to a paltry $200,000.00 a year.

Yep! I think about Bill, or should I say Slick Willie and I think, “Now there is a man that Americans need to take their advice from; particularly when it comes to doing what’s best for America.” One thing is for sure, if you need to know about danger to the American way, Bill should be a valuable source.

It is time for the Government to Scare the Old and the Poor half to death. They warned us now watch as the Obama machine ratchets up fear. (play "Jaws" music)

Rahm Emmanuel has said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” He then went on to clarify 5 points the government hoped to deal with: Healthcare, Energy, Taxes, Education, and Financial Regulation. Hillary Clinton said the same thing with regard to the climate and if you look at everything this administration has done, it has use fear as its tactic. This government has created a “Crisis” in all of these areas.

We had the crisis of too big to fail? Surely the heavens will fall if… the Banks, GM, Chrysler, Beanie Weenies. (Just kidding about the Beanie Weenies, they are still fine.) Then we had the “these tea-partiers are really scary” and you need to worrrrrry about them. Another goodie is that the Ice Cap is thawing and this signals that the earth will burn up soon if the Oceans don’t flood everything to the Rockies.

Sure, all of these things have something to be said for or about them but the Obama administration does everything by fear. Why? Fear works. Fear makes doing the wrong thing for the wrong reasons somehow look sensible. Fear makes people who claim to have solutions seem desirable. Fear makes you needy and no one likes needy like a politician looking to take over your life.

If this administration continues to follow its pattern it will continue with fear. I think they are ready to go after the Poor and the Elderly. Yep! I think they are going to threaten their checks. Think about it. The government is broke. Just now they are starting to say how broke they are. They need money. Where will they get the money? Taxes! Of course it is taxes but how will they get the people behind the idea of taxes. They will get the people who don’t pay them to vote for them. Let me repeat. The poor and the elderly don’t pay taxes. Only a percentage of those in between pay any. As election time comes and everyone hopes for change they will whip up a fresh batch of fear.

I can hear it all now. “You have to vote for this and that or you won’t get you pills or your check or your check will bounce. You must stop the “Tax Paying Americans” from their wants and needs. If the taxpayers get their way you won’t get your check. Your section 8 housing will dry up and you will die. Oh what can you do? First support Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants. Then they will vote with the poor and the elderly and you can keep all that free money. After all, they have way too much and you have way too little.”

What Would Jefferson Do?

With all that has happened in the last year and ½ you can be sure that the founding fathers have rolled in their graves. I’ve recently found it useful to suppose what Thomas Jefferson might write if he were alive today. While I cannot pretend to write with the genius he possessed, I can put to paper the spirit of what he would say; or at least my impression of it. The following is my analysis of his words, and what he might say today including his encouragements to us.

When Thomas Jefferson wrote that, "experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable" he shows his understanding of the nature of the human being. Apart from faith, few have the courage or the foresight to stand against 'evils' that are sufferable. Any human with some life experience can see how these changes to America have come about: little by little. A little suffering now becomes more over time. Abuses by government that cause this suffering only increase. They will continue to increase until the American people “right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.” Those “forms” of suffering are the abuses of power, the increase of taxes, the failure to respond to the will of the people, and the increase in government to the point that We the People have become the servants of the government instead of they serving us.

As Jefferson so eloquently put it, “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”. It is we that institute government. It is we that empower this same government, and it is we that are ultimately responsible for managing that same government. We have failed ourselves in allowing our government to deteriorate to this point. How long have we known that our government was driven by special interests, kickbacks, and pork barrel spending? How long have we endured elections where we choose the lesser of the evils? How long have we suffered under government mismanagement and wasteful spending and how much longer do we plan to allow this? Did we not know that the governments “get their just powers from the consent of the governed”? Instinctively we know this. We have lost our way and our wily leaders have been illuminating our paths with their darkness. To this we must accept responsibility.

Consider this. Everyone has a different tolerance for pain or even recalling when their suffering first began. So often we recall only the moment when a pain became quite unpleasant. I contend that few people are not aware of the gradual onset of pain, or of change, or of wrongdoing. History teaches us that people will often be led away by the thousands by a measly handful of armed soldiers. It is within us, our very natures. We tend to hope for the best and believe what we will; waking only when hope is on the precipice of eternity. Unawares we find ourselves being led off by whomever will take our hearts, minds, body and hopes hostage. Obama and this congress are such a government and Americans may just be such a people.

We all hope, and rightly so, that some peaceful process will turn away this evil that has befallen us. Everywhere there are those crying out that America is in great trouble but millions of Americans continue on with little or no awareness to the seriousness of our times. We must awaken them. Surely I now understand how bizarre the prophets of old must have seen the future as it became the present all transpiring amidst their cries of alarm; the people remained lost in their own pursuits. While not a prophet, I have foretold these events and have been calling out for more than a-year-and-a-half now and others led the way before me.

It is completely within the nature of the human race to ignore the obvious. We do the things that are bad for us and ignore those things which would aid us. We seek riches rather than wisdom, and progress rather than serenity. We chose between the lesser of evils until the choices were no choice at all. Then we blame the evildoers for being evil. But what can we do? Read on.
Truly there is a great difference between our Founding Fathers and the Leaders of today. We citizenry have neither the spine nor stomach for the job currently set before us and so many ignore it. Those who don’t ignore it feel powerless. The question asked by millions of Concerned Americans: What can we do? While the specific answer to that question is yet to be decided here is what we cannot do;

We cannot sit by and wring our hands as if nothing can be done and we are hopeless.
We cannot remain silent because of fear that we will offend someone with the truth.
We cannot allow wrongs to go unchallenged or uncorrected.
We must face evil and call it what it is.
We must shed our fear. Yes this new fascist government is watching you and wants you to be afraid; afraid of your own voice and beliefs. Owning that fear is to be their slave.

We cannot cower to tactics of intimidation and accusations of racism. Certainly there are racial aspects to the Obama presidency but neither opposing him nor his goals is of itself racist. These are the tools of the manipulator and a manipulator will not cease their efforts to control others. Yet we control ourselves if we choose to.

We must reaffirm ourselves to the Constitution of the United States and wearing the breastplate of the Declaration of Independence; we must once again refuse to be governed by those who are not responsible to us:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

These words the Declaration of Independence (emphasis added by me) clearly mirror the level of frustration that much of America now feels and millions more will soon endorse. It is not we that have chosen to be governed by such but rather that they have misrepresented themselves to be something that they are not and have shown by their actions to be altogether undesirable. As such, congress and its many offices have betrayed the American People; led by a president who himself has established his character by his lying and deceitful ways. To these things we are now conscious.

To this end I know that Mr. Jefferson would call for the dispelling of all of these beguilers and to the renewing again of America with committed servants, not tyrannical bureaucrats. Obama may govern those who desire him yet neither I myself nor any that I know desire his leadership. Moreover is the case with both houses of Congress. We have lost our faith in congress. As for me, my loyalty is to my God and my Country, in that order, and neither to this man, nor to his legions of minions. Within that Constitution these loyalties do not exclude each other, even though this presidents’ seeks to have a secular government with loyalties of his making and as this defiant congress would dictate. I myself have given oath to the Constitution of these United States of America and pledged my allegiance to my country, something few in Washington now find honorable and some even openly denounce.

Furthermore, considering that this president now risks our National sovereignty and security should he not be immediately abrogated? Again I refer to The Declaration of Independence, “Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes”. Yet change is his sole purpose. He did openly state that under him America would undergo “fundamental change” and yet his intentions were couched in specious language. True to that pledge, Obama has assaulted and attempts to breach the very foundations of America beginning with disregard for The Constitution of the United States of America. To these ends we have, “have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.” Yes again quoting Jefferson and considering the actions of Americans who have written often to their representatives, and petitioned publically on the steps of their offices and even at the steps of congress only to be treated with disdain and disrespect by all branches of the government and the President himself; who calling American Patriots “tea baggers” ,“extremists”, “right-wing radicals”, and “the minority of Americans”. To this extent Obama and Congress has ignored those instruments which publicly poll and state that the majority of Americans oppose his policies. Amidst the appeals of this nation he has chosen to follow his wishes and to manipulate law to benefit his personal goals and ideals; cowering to those surreptitious organizations such as SEIU, ACORN, MoveOn.org, etc…. To this “We the People” freely choose to exercise our rights in asking that he, Barack Hussein Obama, cease and desist of all his official duties and resign the high office he has so brazenly disgraced making himself “unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

And so to this 111th Congress we state:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created
equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

And that…

“to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”

Regarding which you have repeated denied our voices choosing rather a path and ambitions of your own making for your own reasons thereby rendering yourselves useless as representatives of the people. While not expected, we encourage you to do the honorable thing, resigning your office and surrendering all authority back to the people you have so failed. Failing that “We the People” do hereby exercise our right to choose from within our number from within our own states as afforded by Our Constitution of these United States.

It is not within us to disrespect the High Office of president of these United States or to the Congress which is to serve this great nation. Be that as it may by your own actions and words you have disgraced this people and this nation deeming yourselves unfit. Show yourselves honorable enough to withdraw while this Republic remains intact, averting further division and instability to our badly bruised Nation. Realizing that you have lacked courage, honor, and integrity until this very day, “We the People” are prepared to wrest your power from you by whatever means necessary and available to us. May God bless America.

America Needs an Enema. 1600 Pennsylvania is the Place

It matters not where Barack Obama was born, raised and educated; he is not an American. Perhaps I should say that he, like Michelle, only became proud of America when he was elected. Before that his history is one of consorting with every communist, leftist Educator, and anti-American leftover from the 60s. He spent his time with some of the most divisive minds in this country. So while he lives in America he is not for America. Barry is more concerned what our enemies think that what Americans think. He truly believes he can talk the world to sleep. Honestly, he has gone far with his ramblings.

Listen to what the man says and his beliefs are clear. For months, soon to be years, there have been numerous bloggers, pundits, historians, and ordinary Americans sounding the alarm that this man is a one man wrecking ball out to tear down America and rebuild it in his image. Still a large number of Americans are unable to hear the crap in what he says.

For days now, doctor’s offices and insurance companies have been inundated with phone calls wanting the “free O’bamacare”. These people only heard free. They never heard anything but what they wanted to hear and that was “ObamaCrap”. It make many weak in the knees and others into zombies: crap zombies.

To be fair all politicians weigh in heavy on the “full-o-crap” meter but this guy takes the prize. What he lacks in integrity he makes up for in deception. To this day I do not know of one single promise that he has kept to the American people. The special interests groups that forked over nearly a billion dollars to get him elected, now those folks he has honored his promises, which leads me to my point… America needs a good Enema.

A good flushing of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue would do us all a lot of good and the sooner the better. In truth I have been happy to see the Whitehouse cleaned out a couple of times but the folks living in there now belong in a country where the citizenry are unawares. Barry needs to find a country:

Where everyone will bow before him and never disagree.
Where Barry can control everyone and everything
Where the process doesn’t matter just his majesty’s wishes
Where he can create division and discontent
Where there is a 24hour TV channel showing nothing but flattering photos of him
Where no journalists will ever tell the truth about him
Where citizens think he is wonderful and possibly “THE ONE”
Where government officials throw out their values to appease him
Where money can be printed and spent willy-nilly
Where the only rich person is Barry and a few of his fellow commies
Where laws are interpreted by “O” and only “O”
Where I would be arrested for writing this

Come to think of it, he has just about created that place! Better get the hot soapy water, the kit and some patriots that aren’t afraid of getting covered in crap. Oh yes! Don’t look for the Patriots on Capitol Hill. Most of them are busy regurgitating the crap they have been fed to their constituents.

Obama wordy and full of BS? Well yeah! All but his Kool-Aid club have known this about him as he drones on about whatever. Clearly the man loves the sound of his own voice. My grandson is 5 months old and just discovered his voice. The baby is cute whereas Obama is merely repetitious.

Okay! So the other day a lady named Doris told Obama a hard thing. “We are over-taxed as it is.”, she said speaking in reference to taxes to cover healthcare. So “O” gives her a 17 minute, 2500 word arduous, boring, discourse on why she doesn’t get it and what wonderful things he has done until finally grew tired of his own ramblings and actually said (mark this down as I believe it is a first) “I’m sorry” but still added a “I hope I answered your question”. Hello Barry. If you would have listened to Doris you would have seen that her statement did not end with a question “?” mark. The poor lady expressed a concern. Rather than acknowledge her humanness you grandstand with a diatribe prepared to defend your imagined divinity.

Surely the man will go down as the most verbose, rambling president ever. If you factor in the relevance to logic ratio combined with his understanding index and multiply by factual reality multiplicand he blows the top off the bullshit scale; and almost everyone knows it. Even the mainstream media protects him like he’s a child getting his legs under him for the first time.

A closer look to Obama’s first statement to Doris says it all:

"Well, let's talk about that, because this is an area where there's been just a whole lot of misinformation, and I'm going to have to work hard over the next several months to clean up a lot of the misapprehensions that people have."

First. “O” says “let’s talk about that”. There is never a “let’s” to anything when Obama is in the room. It is always O doing the talking. Anyone trying to have a different thought gets cut off at the knees. Right Doris? And Obama never “talks about” anything. He talks around it, over and under it, re-explains it, repeats it, and beats it to death but never gets to the point and “talks about” it.

Second. Obama stated that “this is an area where there's been just a whole lot of misinformation” which translated means that there are people who disagree with him and have dared to speak out. You might also translate that as ‘I don’t yet have complete control over the media yet’. The real misinformation is what comes out of his mouth upon opening.

Third. Barry said “I'm going to have to work hard over the next several months”. Give us a break. This president hasn’t worked hard at anything since his inauguration. He has had a few last minute ‘let’s pull out all stops’ when others were having trouble doing his work. As for Barack I suspect it translates to something similar to “Gone Fishin’”. According to babynames.com Barack Hussein means “the blessed handsome one”. That would explain that attitude of his among other things.

Last. BHO said he’d have to spend “the next several months to clean up a lot of the misapprehensions that people have." All this means is more speeches and more speeches and more speeches. There will be billboard signs and marches by the Obama Youth and the SS branch of SEIU. (service specialists). Pravda will be employed to fill the airwaves with propaganda and if they are successful all of our brains will be turned into liquefied goo. All of this because of a nice lady named Doris had a comment.

Secession or Expatriation?

With all the differences that have appeared in our society it is likely that some of them or in fact irreconcilable. I will never be in favor of redistribution of the wealth and I suspect my liberal counterpart cannot bear ceasing to try and control me. On these things I think that we will never come to a meeting of the minds. To that I say so be it. You go your way and I will go mine. As it is there are more conservatives in America than there are liberals. If you looked at the most liberal states you would essential have the northeast, Chicago (not all of Illinois is communist), Wisconsin, and California. These total a dozen far left leaning states including the District of Columbia.

To these I say bye bye as you are herewith removed from the United States of America and are now free to go about whatever agenda you wish. We conservatives and moderates will maintain the Government of the United States of America only with fewer states; and of course and new capitol (oh I love this part), a brand new congress, and a shiny new president. These people must all be vetted and back-door appointment not allowed. As America we hold title to the dollar, George Washington, the Constitution, and the US Military. We will however allow any leftist in any state or job to leave before we expatriate these states.

We have the majority. We have the desire. We have the motivation and the right. The only thing lacking is the doing. This is a very non-violent thing and we wish our liberal brethren ever success with their skewed philosophies. Perhaps in the cleansing of America of what ails her we can bring about another 200+ years of prosperity and leadership to the world.

The doing of this idea I think is very realistic. We don’t need walls or to change our IDs but the new United Socialist States may need or desire those things. May I suggest tattoos on their forehead or hands. As they tell it now we are to be feared more than anything. In their minds nothing is more dangerous than a “Conservative”. Of course there would be some changes for those folk. Without our money Nancy would have to give up her plane and, and… Come to think of it they won't need Nancy anymore, or Harry, or Barry O. Oh well. You have to break eggs to make an omelet.

Back here in the Great US of A we could start up our self-sufficiency again. We could fire up our steel mills and start paying farmers to grow crops again. It would be so great to see America back doing what she does best, leading the way. Sure we could trade with other countries, just not at the expense of American jobs and we could put strict limits on the numbers of lead painted toys we import. We could even end entitlements due to the number of new jobs available in manufacturing and farming. Surely we have some folks who would take those jobs now. Then again; they may have all moved to the United Socialist States. You can't win them all.

I’ll be 63 soon. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce, and a six-month period when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I’ve worked, hard, since I was 18. Despite some health challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven’t called in sick in seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, there’s no retirement in sight, and I’m tired. Very tired.

I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth around” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy or stupid to earn it.

I’m tired of being told that I have to pay more taxes to “keep people in their homes.” Sure, if they lost their jobs or got sick, I’m willing to help. But if they bought McMansions at three times the price of our paid-off, $250,000 condo, on one-third of my salary, then let the leftwing Congresscritters who passed Fannie and Freddie and the Community Reinvestment Act that created the bubble help them—with their own money.

I’m tired of being told how bad America is by leftwing millionaires like Michael Moore, George Soros and Hollywood entertainers who live in luxury because of the opportunities America offers. In thirty years, if they get their way, the United States will have the religious freedom and women’s rights of Saudi Arabia, the economy of Zimbabwe, the freedom of the press of China, the crime and violence of Mexico, the tolerance for Gay people of Iran, and the freedom of speech of Venezuela. Won’t multiculturalism be beautiful?

I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honor;” of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers;” of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery;” of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.

I believe “a man should be judged by the content of his character, not by the color of his skin.” I’m tired of being told that “race doesn’t matter” in the post-racial world of President Obama, when it’s all that matters in affirmative action jobs, lower college admission and graduation standards for minorities (harming them the most), government contract set-asides, tolerance for the ghetto culture of violence and fatherless children that hurts minorities more than anyone, and in the appointment of US Senators from Illinois. I think it’s very cool that we have a black president and that a black child is doing her homework at the desk where Lincoln wrote the emancipation proclamation. I just wish the black president was Condi Rice, or someone who believes more in freedom and the individual and less in an all-knowing government.

I’m tired of a news media that thinks Bush’s fundraising and inaugural expenses were obscene, but that think Obama’s, at triple the cost, were wonderful. That thinks Bush exercising daily was a waste of presidential time, but Obama exercising is a great example for the public to control weight and stress, that picked over every line of Bush’s military records, but never demanded that Kerry release his, that slammed Palin with two years as governor for being too inexperienced for VP, but touted Obama with three years as senator as potentially the best president ever.

Wonder why people are dropping their subscriptions or switching to Fox News? Get a clue. I didn’t vote for Bush in 2000, but the media and Kerry drove me to his camp in 2004.

I’m tired of being told that out of “tolerance for other cultures” we must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund mosques and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in America, while no American group is allowed to fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to teach love and tolerance.

I’m tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global warming, which no one is allowed to debate. My wife and I live in a two-bedroom apartment and carpool together five miles to our jobs. We also own a three-bedroom condo where our daughter and granddaughter live. Our carbon footprint is about 5% of Al Gore’s, and if you’re greener than Gore, you’re green enough.

I’m tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses while they tried to fight it off? I don’t think Gay people choose to be Gay, but I damn sure think druggies chose to take drugs. And I’m tired of harassment from cool people treating me like a freak when I tell them I never tried marijuana.

I’m tired of illegal aliens being called “undocumented workers,” especially the ones who aren’t working, but are living on welfare or crime. What’s next? Calling drug dealers, “Undocumented Pharmacists”? And, no, I’m not against Hispanics. Most of them are Catholic and it’s been a few hundred years since Catholics wanted to kill me for my religion. I’m willing to fast track for citizenship any Hispanic person who can speak English, doesn’t have a criminal record and who is self-supporting without family on welfare, or who serves honorably for three years in our military. Those are the citizens we need.

I’m tired of latte liberals and journalists, who would never wear the uniform of the Republic themselves, or let their entitlement-handicapped kids near a recruiting station, trashing our military. They and their kids can sit at home, never having to make split-second decisions under life and death circumstances, and bad mouth better people then themselves. Do bad things happen in war? You bet. Do our troops sometimes misbehave? Sure. Does this compare with the atrocities that were the policy of our enemies for the last fifty years—and still are? Not even close. So here’s the deal. I’ll let myself be subjected to all the humiliation and abuse that was heaped on terrorists at Abu Ghraib or Gitmo, and the critics can let themselves be subject to captivity by the Muslims who tortured and beheaded Daniel Pearl in Pakistan, or the Muslims who tortured and murdered Marine Lt. Col. William Higgins in Lebanon, or the Muslims who ran the blood-spattered Al Qaeda torture rooms our troops found in Iraq, or the Muslims who cut off the heads of schoolgirls in Indonesia, because the girls were Christian. Then we’ll compare notes. British and American soldiers are the only troops in history that civilians came to for help and handouts, instead of hiding from in fear.

I’m tired of people telling me that their party has a corner on virtue and the other party has a corner on corruption. Read the papers—bums are bi-partisan. And I’m tired of people telling me we need bi-partisanship. I live in Illinois, where the “Illinois Combine” of Democrats and Republicans has worked together harmoniously to loot the public for years. And I notice that the tax cheats in Obama’s cabinet are bi-partisan as well.

I’m tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of both parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught. I’m tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

Speaking of poor, I’m tired of hearing people with air-conditioned homes, color TVs and two cars called poor. The majority of Americans didn’t have that in 1970, but we didn’t know we were “poor.” The poverty pimps have to keep changing the definition of poor to keep the dollars flowing.

I’m real tired of people who don’t take responsibility for their lives and actions. I’m tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination, or big-whatever for their problems.

Yes, I’m damn tired. But I’m also glad to be 63. Because, mostly, I’m not going to get to see the world these people are making. I’m just sorry for my granddaughter.

Obama: Man, Myth, or Friggin Lunatic?

Health Care is only Sleight of Hand allowing Government Takeover. To hear people discuss it you would swear that the government is concerned about human life. Get out of here. Our government could end thousands of deaths each day by eliminating tobacco sales. Now that would be controversial. Instead they tax it heavily for a nice little profit and ignore the dirty secret that they could care less about: American lives or should I say American deaths. What government cares about is more government. Governments like the ones our president wants to be like have killed millions of people.

The Washington Bunch is like a fish swimming in a cesspool. No matter which one you pick out they are bound to stink to high heaven. Who eats fish from a cesspool? No one, but we swallow the crap they stir up and scoop out of the cesspool.

One of the things I love about people is their ability to hope. Americans are hopeful people. Most Americans have ancestors who hoped for a better life here. All of us have is better than most of the world and probably better than any of our ancestors. Why all of a sudden do we need someone who knows nothing of life in America to want to “Fundamentally Change” it? Maybe you went to Harvard on someone else’s dime but not me. I worked for what I got and that included my education. I don’t have healthcare now and I don’t want it if it comes with a Socialist price tag.

Sure, young Americans and some classes of our society have been educated into a sense of entitlement. As a kid I thought the idea of Santa was good too. Sooner or later you have to grow up and accept responsibility for your own selves. Baby birds don’t always want to leap out in faith and sometimes the parents have to push them. It is often the same with human children. Parents find that it can be tough to wean them. Actually it is harder for the parent to stop giving than it is for the kids to make their own way.

Now you can compare Obama to countless despicable politicians. I don’t compare him to anything. He is unlike anything I have experienced in my 60 years. He is a president but not the people’s president. He got the job but a leader without followers is merely a guy out walking. His intentions are clear yet people act awestruck by his actions. To say that he lies is to say Mt. Everest is kind of tall. To trust him with anything is beyond all reason. He has to go. Impeachment? Succession from the Union? Elections? Whatever? If you woke up the day before the attacks on Pearl Harbor knowing what was going to happen would you sit on your thumbs or do something. Shout it out. Obama has to go. Oh yes do take Nancy and Harry with you.

Obama Revealed. Racist! Facist! Socialist!

This is a re-Publised article which upon reflection required some edits. First of all the title. I think I had been too clever with the title when what I hope to say is that Obama is a Racist. The proof is in his history and will be his legacy if he is not stopped. Even now he is out brainwashing the younger Americans on the wonder of his Creation. And so, consider this...

What do you call a country with a Leader who lies continually, ignores the desire of the people, places burdens upon or provides assistance to people based upon their Race, ignores the founding of his country, and manipulates the media to tell only certain perspectives? Wow. That could be any number of fascist regimes but it is now true of America. Hold on to this for just one moment while I pose some questions.

Do you wonder how could a political nobody become arguably the most divisive president of these United States, and all of that in months?

How could a bill that the overwhelming majority of Americans don’t want become law?

Who among us feels that our congress people who favored this bill listened to anything we had to say?

Who feels that truthfulness in the Media is dead, sustained on life support only for the benefit of the government?

Who believes it is wrong for the Whitehouse to have its own press and release only finished “News” to the people?

Who had hoped that the people would ultimately prevail and Washington would return to sanity?

Who hopes for November but deep down feels that the elections may make little or no difference?

Who feels that the deck is stacked and the cards dealt and Obama has all the Trump cards?

Who can list at least 5 things that Obama flat out lied about.

Lastly, who believes that Barack Hussein Obama has a secret personal agenda and that he will stop at nothing to achieve it?

Now back to my original thoughts and their proof. Most of you reading this have little need for proof for most of what I have written. Some may agree with it all. My comment about Race surely made some uneasy. If you are white I suspect you are very uneasy. We white people have been made to question our own opinions and thoughts about race issues. We have been taught to fear race related discussions and to say only racially acceptable things: whatever that may be. Relax. Black is just a color, or is it?

I want to now give you another take on my statement and then explain it. Obama’s redistribution of wealth is a “Racial” motivated effort. It is a thinly veiled repackaging of “Reparations” which many black organizations have been fighting for during the last 50 or so years. Basically, blacks feel they are owed money, land, and a mule with interest for the sufferings of their slave ancestors. Some of that thinking is in Black Liberation Theology. Obama spent 20+ years under his pastor Jeremiah Wright and the black liberation theology to which he subscribes as does his successor Otis Moss III. Here is a current quote from the Trinity Church website:

“We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.”

Notice the loyalty to Black, the Black religious experience, Christian, African people, the mother continent, God, and the Black Community. Spend some time looking into Black Experience and Black Community and it is highly racially charged with little respect for or need of white people. These things clearly state the differences between the way White America and Black America view their country and largely their Christian experience. Whites used Christianty to keep the black man down. Former pastor and Obama mentor Jeremiah Wright had this to say:

“[The United States] government lied about their belief that all men were created equal. The truth is they believed that all white men were created equal. The truth is they did not even believe that white women were created equal, in creation nor civilization. The government had to pass an amendment to the Constitution to get white women the vote. Then the government had to pass an equal rights amendment to get equal protection under the law for women. The government still thinks a woman has no rights over her own body, and between Uncle Clarence who sexually harassed Anita Hill, and a closeted Klan court, that is a throwback to the 19th century, handpicked by Daddy Bush, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford, between Clarence and that stacked court, they are about to undo Roe vs. Wade, just like they are about to un-do affirmative action. The government lied in its founding documents and the government is still lying today. Governments lie.”

Obama said these in his own books in his own words:

"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."

"Yes, I’d seen weakness in other men— Gramps and his disappointments, Lolo and his compromise. Clearly Obama sees these people and himself as a Messiah to the blacks. Black Liberation Theology is essentially that and it is broad enough to find room for someone like Louis Farrakhan who was honored at Trinity by Jeremiah Wright with a “Lifetime Achievement Award”. This is the same Farrakhan that and the Nation of Islam who believe:

According to the Nation, whites were created by Yakub, the mad scientist, as a test for the superior black race, who are the chosen people, and also as a curse on it.

And again…”Mr. Farrakhan told the few whites in the crowd, "You are not a devil by the color of your skin; you are the devil by the teachings you have accepted."

Clearly this only shows circumstantial evidence and/or guilt by association but consider this. The hefty tax burdens will be on the top 2% of the wealthiest Americans. Would you venture a guess as to what percentage of those people to be black? On the other hand the states are expecting to increase their Medicaid rolls by up to 50%. Would you venture a guess as to what percent of those people are white?

Caucasians make up about 50% of Americans, with blacks second at about 25% and Latinos at 10%. All others make up the balance. It wasn’t until today that I realized that Obama’s efforts, whether planned or not, largely penalize whites and benefit blacks. I am so sad to think it but that is the way it works out. 93% of all blacks that voted voted for Obama. A large percentage of whites also voted for him. It is true that the majorities of Tea Party protesters were and are white. Neither he nor his administration acknowledged them. Is that racially motivated?

Lastly, black Americans whose inspiration is Africa are not Americans at all. We are all one people except those who are determined to create separations and divisions.

Whose wife became proud of America only after her husband became president?

What President accused a white police officer of acting stupidly without having any facts?

Which presidents black attorney general dropped all charges against members of the
Black Panthers who were involved in voter tampering?

Which Congressional Black Caucus has a perfect record of voting with the president?

Which president of the United States never revealed his college transcripts?

What president has yet to give a straight answer to a question?

Head of State or Head of Snake?

Today they say will be one of the most historic days in America. I suppose that is true. There have been many historic days, most of which went unnoticed. Most of us mark historic days by points in time that others see as historic as well: Pearl Harbor, JFK’s assassination, Obama’s election, etc. Today is an historic day not so much for the vote that will take place this afternoon but for the “Fundamental Change” that Americans NOW see in their country. Whether Obama Care passes or fails we still have the same issues in place after the vote as before it.

Let me share this line of thought with you. Is it Obama that matters so much or is it his huge power brokers that funded the most expensive election in history. Is he the problem or is it the way the rats in congress follow this “pied piper” to their apparent demise. Did Obama cause the media to ignore the truth in favor of a lie or did he merely exploit it. Did his associations with Communists, Anarchists, Race and hate mongers, anti-Semitics, and all sorts of evil doers go unannounced or did the American people choose to ignore them.

You have to ask yourself why America trusted in a candidate with “NO” experience and this seedy, sketchy past. Surely there are many factors and most of them historic yet passing unannounced. Even now government is planning to pass a bill that everyone knows is not “the bill” but is the one America “can” swallow for now. In time they will pass whatever they wish. In truth they are doing that now. Has any nation ever fallen without events leading up to its fall? Surely not. Moreover, I suspect that there were many who cried out of the dangers. I also know that many would prefer to believe a lie rather that to hear the truth.

For months now thousands and thousands have been crying out that it is time to save our Republic. I have been in that number and I now recognize that today’s corruption is the result of years of apathy and indifference. I myself am guilty of too much tolerance and ignorance. Today I see what my inaction is costing me and I fear the price will be paid by my children and grandchildren. They have always looked to their dad and grandpa to have the answers and to do the right thing.

Surely we are all culpable; those who deceived us and those now feeling betrayed. So the question becomes what are we now prepared to do? We must make every legal effort at our disposal to remove Congress, Obama, and those in high office who do not love this Republic. If you want a communist utopia, find one and move there. If you want a hand out, put a shovel in it and do something. If you see your neighbor in need, help them up. If you see your government in corruption, help them “OUT”. Accept nothing as the truth that you do not know to be the truth; not my words or anyone else’s. Take personal responsibility for yourself. Be faithful to yourself, your family, and your community. Lastly remember that small things grow into great things whether desirable or abhorred.

Today I received a wonderful invitation from my Congressman, Russ Carnahan. He wants me to attend a “telephone town-hall”. Hah! Get outta here. What the hell is a “telephone town-hall”? The best I can tell it is just another way to keep me as a nameless no count, some kind of virtual meeting where I “virtually” don’t matter. Sure Russ. I would love to sit on hold while you talk down to me yet again of your freakish liberal agenda.

The last time this jerk was in town Kenneth Gladney got mugged by SEIU members outside Russ’s town hall. He filled the meeting with invitees from SEIU and ACORN and then locked and guarded the doors to his real constituents. Like most politicians these days they think they are astute and we are the ignorant masses. Well, this ignorant mass is listened out. “But do go on!”

I am even bored of the constant appeals for money from all of these newly formed groups claiming to represent me. For one price they will mail my “Priority” letter or hand deliver it to my congressman’s office. Duh! All my communications to my government are treated with equal indifference. Still many Americans fear that we will lose a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people”. I propose that that has already happened. The question is not whether we have lost it but rather how to get it back. With a President like Obama and a Congress of like minded elitists we can assume nothing but the worst.

To my recollection neither he nor his congress has represented “We the People” since taking office. Is that taxation without representation? Anyway, I think it is totally possible for Americans to retake their government. In my thinking we must no longer trust their words but must hold them accountable for their actions and not in a beholding way. We need to become “Soup Nazis” for government change. “You vote for O’bully-Care no reelection for you. Get out. Don’t come back.” (said in my best soup nazi accent) Perhaps that is language they can understand.

But be prepared for the long haul. Barack O’Bully and his gangster goons know how to wait us out. They have prepared their whole lives to seize the power they now behold and they will not go gently. As for me I'm for a one-term, biggest loser, shamefully remembered Barack Hussein Obama. He came seeking to destroy the American way and tasted the bile of an indignant people. May his legacy be that of the Sh.. he stirred.

I last talked about the “Law of Successive Approximations”. I hope that was fun for you. This should be as well. Today I want to talk about kids, actually the grown-up kids in government, who can’t seem to have it any way but their way. If they were children we would call them brats. Ok, so even as adults they are brats. For now let’s call them Senator or President or Partisans. The bottom line is they are a bunch of brats. They haven’t a clue nor the moral fortitude to do what is right for the country and the American people; they just know what they want. As far as I can tell they are so busy bawling about their desires they cannot hear anything.

Now, as Brat-in-Chief, Obama is setting the bar for ultimate “Bratdom”. He has a Brat Squad in Pelosi and Reid and a whole regiment of brats in congress and they are on both sides of the aisle. But as the Big Brat he has shown America exactly what he is about: Himself. To this day he has yet to yield on anything that differs from what he wants. Please correct me if I am wrong as I would admit to it. The Big Brat can’t. Now he has admitted that America, her people, her government, and her past politicians are wrong but not himself. That would make him human and I am afraid that the Big Brat doesn’t know that he is human. I guess that makes him the deity Brat. I could not bring myself to use a capital “D” there. DANG!

Anyway, while Americans are foundering, filled with concern about the economy, jobs, their futures, their families, and their homes the Big Brat keeps pushing people around and insisting that the government is the answer to everything, most especially healthcare. New flash to Big Brat; no one wants your Bratcare. We want something but we don’t want it shoved down our throats. I guess that makes the Big Brat’s plan “ O’Bully Care ”. Now that is a catchy name: Barack Hussein O’Bully.

So this has all been fun but you might wonder how this ties to the “Law of Successive Approximation”. Well that is my way to get you to read my last blog. No. Actually, it is the small lies and untruths that we Americans swallowed in ever larger bites that brought us to this time when we are choking on the crap that the Big Brat and the Brat Squad are feeding us. Years ago I learned of the “Law of Successive Approximation”. Don’t run off. This will be a fun article. I promise. It a nutshell this concept or “Law” is where you want to present a “Big Idea” that may be beyond the ability of others to accept. So, you break it down into small or even baby steps.

Now, anyone who has ever dated knows that a first date doesn’t begin with hand holding and kissing. For that matter it may not end there. But if it is ever to get there the “Idea” has to become comfortable in the minds of both daters. Usually the male begins with casual movements that allow him to get ever closer to the female. He may take her hand to help her from the car and perhaps there is a dance or two. Often hands become tangled and faces become closer and possibly that first kiss. I’m blushing. Anyway you get the idea.

Using this real life experience it is easy to understand that big leaps are often best taken with small steps. You know this and apply this in your everyday life. Sometimes it is harder to see when it occurs very, very, slowly. Political correctness is that way. It started off being a concept of being more in tune with sensitivities and now it seems that has evolved into a school of mind control. Surely you have found yourself thinking something that wasn’t politically correct and pondered whether there was something wrong for you to think this way. Sensitivity is nice. Sameness is absurd.

I am who I am and am more than the accumulation of a few thoughts. I am complex and have my life experiences and ideology to guide me; not to mention whatever effect genetics may or may not have on me. I can be sensitive without thinking like anyone: you or anyone else. (Did you ever notice that you can’t find “who” determines the rules of PC?) So I find that I can be sensitive to your thinking and still think that you are absolutely wrong. You too have that same right. Yet, someone, (the “they”) said you are wrong to think a certain something. You are even more evil if you say it. Now Elton John can say Jesus was a Homosexual but I’m not to speak out against EJ and his ideology because it would be gay bashing. I don’t hate gays. I just want them to shut up already. It is not all about gays. Now I will be labeled a “Homophobe”. Thirty years ago there wouldn’t have been any consequence for my opinion. See the “Law of Successive Approximation” at work here?

A lie used to be a “LIE”. Now it is called spin. The “War on Terror” is now a “Man Made Contingency Operation” and “Socialism is Liberalism or Progressivism”. What in the heck is going on? If you call a shooting a “high velocity projectile encounter” will the victim still be dead?

As a boy I remember my dad saying that we were becoming a nation of “educated fools”. As I consider the fact that the President, Congress, and many Americans no longer think the truth matters and that honesty is relative to the outcome, I find my dad words truer than I could have imagined. What can restore us to our sensibilities and make “right” and “wrong” real again? What can return us to “America: Land of Opportunity” thinking where you can work hard and improve things for your family? Who can put “Dignity” back into government and raise up Statesmen?

Perhaps if we make it Politically Correct to be Honest, Hardworking, and Truthful we might get it done. See you at the Polls.

Well it was Barry O in another of his clueless comments to the DEMS on Capitol Hill. He went on to say that if the DEMS don’t push his healthcare legislation that they would face the judgment of voters in November's mid-term congressional polls. Barry is trying to box them in: Damned if they do and Damned if they don’t. Nothing could be further from the truth. Then again Obama and the truth are seldom found in the same sentence.

The only hope for Blue Dog Democrats and for that matter all DEMS this election year is to make an act of contrition and convince the nation that they have had an epiphany of the error of their ways. I suspect that “O” is planning to appoint a fair number of Novembers dejected DEMs to his bloating government but those jobs are likely to last only 2 years.

I think Sarah Palin said it well yesterday that the nation needs “a Commander in Chief” and not a “Law Professor” standing at the lectern. I would like to add the other things we are praying for:

• A humbler person in the Whitehouse that can feel our pain
• A president that is more concerned about America than his legacy or his Friday night dates
• Leadership that actually leads and not someone who drags us kicking and screaming
• Government that understands that we are the reason they exist and not vice versa
• A congress that votes the mind of their constituents
• Fiscal responsibility PERIOD
• People in office who bring jobs back to America
• Americans who take responsibility for obtaining all the above

So I would say to DEMs, Republicans, and those who vacillate with the tides that your’re on notice. It isn’t about political parties it’s about people. It’s not about what you can do for us it is about what you had better do for us. It is not about you. It’s about us and you will see us today, tomorrow, and most definitely in November.

Current Politics Suck

Trying to figure out today’s Washington politics is like walking in suck mud and is about as exhausting. Every attempt to free yourself and your spirit sucks you in deeper and all the while Washingtonians keep the water running creating more mud. Obama spends more and says he is cutting back. He says jobs are important and does nothing to promote them. The deficit is “of utmost importance” as he prods his party to increase it another 1.9 trillion dollars. He says bi-partisan politics is a must as he huddles his DEMs into a closet to meet and denies to requests of the Republicans.

In O’s first State of the Union address he spent his time blaming, making excuses, and making campaign-like promises. The man is clueless when it comes to the truth or the American people. I truly think he is delusional enough to believe that he is some sort of messianic figure. For whom or what I haven’t a clue. He cloaked his Healthcare agenda most of the way through the speech but went back to work on it Friday. He has sold America to Special Interests, the Unions, and progressives for thirty-pieces of silver. His arrogance and elitism are unmatched and these are the nice things I have to say about him.

Trying to figure out what to blog about has pulled my editorial shoes off in mud up to my waist. So much has happened and there is clear evidence that Americans are awakening from their “a little socialism won’t hurt” comas. Conservatives are winning some elections and hope is on the horizon. Then again, Obama is cranking up the political machine. Focus groups and leftist loons are organizing in critical voting states for November’s election. Republicans have still not found their message and the tea party is poised to make a difference. I hope we don’t find ourselves shooting at the enemy while formed into a circle. Be not deceived. This man will present a formidable front and raise millions if not a billion or more to keep the DEMS in power.

So I guess all of this is to say that when you think we have made some progress toward recovering our Republic, don’t relax. You are standing is suck mud and if we don’t help each other out we have only one way to go: under.

Liberals: Can You Feel Your Butts Puckering?

You know that feeling you get when the flash goes off at a photo enforced stoplight? You know, that internal twisting when your butt puckers and you can feel the “oh oh” up into your stomach. Lots of Americans had that feeling when Obama got elected. Now the Obama faithful and democrats all over the country are getting that very feeling as they begin to experience reality and awaken from their comas. It is kind of a “now what have we done feeling” that wasn’t there yesterday. Yep it is 2010 and midterm elections are just around the corner only 11 little months away.

Already Dems are scurrying for the doors and dropping from elections they know they can’t win. Yes sir. Pay back is a bitch and there isn’t any worse bitch than an American voter who has been scorned and sluffed off like yesterdays garbage. Sure enough, by the time November comes along it is hard to tell how many of us fed-up, long ignored, no returned phone calls, don’t matter voters will be at the polls. I’d say that if you treated us poorly last year, get ready for yours.

I would like to take a few moments to thank the Liberals, the Dem Socialists, and the Maoists for waking the sleeping dragon: Conservatism. We needed your schemes and plotting to help us to see what ruthless opponents you are and how devious are your methods. You did what we couldn’t or didn’t do for ourselves: unite us. I suspect that there will be many raised up from among us who will be sitting there in Washington next to you in just about a year; that is those of you who manage to survive. Then we will have enough of us in government to undo your deeds and expose you for who you are. That really ought to make your butt pucker. Some of you will even be tried for your deeds. Can you say “I violated the oath of my office”?

But then there is also good news for you Libs. You will have plenty of time to think about your deeds; almost as much time as the millions of Americans without jobs. You will have time to think about your backroom bartering and taking of special interest groups’ money. You can think about Washington parties and treating conservatives badly and slandering those who would stand for what is right and good. Did you take a bribe for your vote? Oops again! Did you ignore and make fun of those at the tea parties? Shame, shame! And you mouthed off to attendees of your town halls… Bummer!

In closing let me leave you with one piece of advice: don’t include Socialist on your resume!

Hope for America from Americans

If there is one thing that Americans could use these days is a little inspiration. There are some really good things about this country that should really cheer everyone up. For now, we live in freedom with 230 years of history in a nation with the most perfect Constitution in the world in all of history. Most of us are eating well and are getting on with our lives fairly well. Some are hurting and many good Americans are stepping up to help.

Despite all efforts to evict Him, God is still alive and well and can be worshipped here in most places. Actually everyplace if you don’t tell anyone what you are doing. Even people of different faiths can worship their God here and we just think that is great. We even think it is fine if you have no god. Where else does such freedom exist?

Even after the tanking of the stock market, most of us are hopeful that we will recover and one day get on with our retirement plans. Most Americans will take a vacation, though fewer of us will fly. If you have to take a vacation what better place that America the Beautiful. I have seen most of it and I have to say it is spectacular. Not only do we have a beautiful country but it is filled with the finest people on earth. Americans are a loving, caring, forgiving, and diverse people. We love a happy ending and will do most anything to get one. We are hospitable and patriotic and we generally share the one and let you have your opinion of the other.

As far as we know the sun will come up tomorrow and the day after. Most of us are at peace in our lives and are getting on well enough not to complain. Generally you could say we possess varying amounts of faith, hope, and love. We know that bad times pass and that the clock stops for no man: particularly a despicable one. Can you feel it? Oh beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain...

Afraid to Say...

The other day I was speaking with a woman who stated that she and her husband were gravely concerned about the future of America. Even more telling was that she described going to hear Laura Ingram speak and fearing that damage might be done to their car or worse. Her fear describes all too well the feeling many Americans have. Who would have ever thought that our nation would have become a place where your freedom to speak would become overshadowed by your fear of retaliation?

Truthfully, I have wondered if my blogging might not get me extra scrutiny from the IRS or some other government Agency. I know how many visit my blog and so for now I think I am just another unknown. Do not misunderstand me. If you are going to speak out against this government I think there is a certain amount of risk that goes with it. How much is hard to tell and probably has much to do with how you speak out and to whom. Doesn’t the very thought of this just give you the creeps. America has become a Gestapo State and her people feel under siege.

While I do feel that efforts are being made to eliminate our freedom of speech or at least our “freedom to speak”, I am not yet thinking that the masses are in any real danger for having dissenting opinions. Yet that day will come. Think about it. We never thought that the things that happen now could have ever happened and yet they do. In a nation where our president feels comfortable to lord over the people, will he not also feel equally comfortable to sentence them to some punishment at his whim? When a congress has become so dysfunctional as to go against the will of the people, will they not also turn on those same people and demand allegiance? Most assuredly they will. Our president and our congress have both reached the point where they no longer are bound by the Constitution and they know it.

If our government were still beholding to the Constitution, they would not be able to pass laws requiring every citizen to buy anything, let alone their product: insurance. Even if insurance is a good thing, to require every American to buy anything is against our Constitution. The Constitution could be amended to provide for such a law but that would take a two-thirds majority in both houses. This administration can’t get that many votes for their agenda but neither do they need it. Why bother with Amending the Constitution when you can just ignore it? This administration has shown that they can do as they wish and we are powerless to stop them.

Now let me make a simple distinction of what Obama intends and what he Promises. Obama has made dozens of campaign promises and has yet to make good on the first of them. However, when Obama says he will do something, he does. He will not be stopped. Whether it requires hiring, firings, threats or bribes he will see it through. He said he will see Healthcare Reform and he will have it. Obama is sailing on a sea of congressional corruption in a ship named “Devious”. He has prepared his whole life to “fundamentally change” America and is within grasp of it and he has done this before our eyes. He knows we will do little, particularly if we are too afraid to speak up.

Being An American...

According to the latest estimates, Caucasians will be a minority in America sometime around 2040. Sounds like a long time off but the years between 2000 and 2010 passed like a blink of the eye. It is not that I mind being a racial minority. I guess I knew that someone is always on the lesser side. I have come to ponder that the very thing that made America great may now be the thing that irreversibly changes us. The world gave us her poor, tired and hungry and they now want America to be more like where they came from.

My first awareness to this phenomenon was when we lived in California. Among the many things that you can say about California is that it is a very diverse place with peoples from all over the world. I seem to remember that the voting ballots in California were printed in 27 languages the year that I left there. It seemed odd to me that English was no longer a requirement for voting. Not that I want to deprive anyone but we have just become so accommodating that we had lost something that unified us.

I tend to think that people are united or divided along socio economic, cultural, religious and language lines more than along racial ones. Some racial groups tend to try and maintain the purity of their races as well as some religions. I can remember when a non-Catholic would have to convert to marry a Catholic. Gentiles almost never marry Jews but interracial marriages are so common that no one thinks anything of them.

One hundred years ago there were less immigrants and those that came were seeking this America that was known around the world. We accepted people who accepted us. If you wanted to become an American we wanted you regardless of where you come from. Today we still accept you, even if your commitment is to only living here and not being one of us. So many of you wish to keep your culture, your language, and your race pure by isolating yourselves here. You live in America but you are not American. You haven’t been taught nor do you have the love for what made us special. Our Constitution is not sacred to you and you know nothing of how we got here. All you know is that we opened our doors and you came in.

I don’t blame you. It is we that allowed, even made this to happen. We continued to lower the standards of our educational system until we no longer lead the world but lag far behind. We found your countries could make our products cheaper and so we gave up our jobs in favor of profits. We make so little here anymore but we buy everything and our very economy is based upon us continuing to buy what we do not make with money that is printed but has little value. It was we that chose to believe lies rather than to stand for the truth. We have tolerated abuses when times were good because it was easy. Surely, we set ourselves up for this but we did not see it coming. We were too busy enjoying the good times.

To all of America I say that the answer lies in our past. The ideas of this modern age is not what will make America great again but rather the old ideas. Those who came here to enjoy Americas bounty must now learn where that came from. Those of us who know must return to those values. Those who would have us go the way of the rest of the world should leave here and return to that world. It is our Constitution that made us all free. It was that same Constitution that made everyone come here seeking liberty. And, it is that Constitution that can return us to greatness. It is not our differences that are dividing us it is our lack of a common belief. No other nation has survived, even excelled like the United States of America. It is our Constitution that made that possible and it is our Constitution that will restore us.

So what lies before us is the continued greatness of America as a Nation. Any other choice is unacceptable. Will you be an American or merely a resident alien? You don’t have to be from someplace else to be un-American.

Dear Mr. President...

In life we all experience some things that are just so wrong. Wrong in the way it is to torture puppies or to beat a homeless person. To encounter such things is a call to action. Americans we have such an opportunity this Christmas. We can inundate the White House with telegrams. Tell Mr. Obama how wrong it is to inflict upon New York this sham of a trial glorifying the terrorists and condemning America. This decision is not only wrong, it is wrong in the worst way: it is evil.

Mr. Obama, you have said that you have left this to Attorney General Holder. We don’t believe you nor do we care. What we care about is America and our American brothers and sisters. We care about those who suffered so much at the hands of these soulless zealots who took from us what could have only been taken by force: security. Our nation has been violated with the attacks of 9-11. Despots, bent on hatred, declared war on America. They stole the joy of sons, daughters, mothers and fathers. Nearly a decade has past and America still mourns the dead and dying.

Mr. Obama this decision to return these evil doers to New York and provide them with the rights and privileges of citizens is beyond all understanding. I have tried in every way I can to allow room in my heart for this decision but there is no quarter there. It is simply wrong. Mr. Obama can you care so little about this country that you will elevate these cheap terrorist thugs to the largest stage in the world? Are you so heartless that you cannot feel the pain of your people? Are we your people? Your mouth says yes but your actions say otherwise.

Surely you can go ahead with this. Who can stop you? You have shown us you will listen to no one. Perhaps you will listen to all of us. Perhaps you will see that to lead a people is to have them follow you. Look behind you now. Who is there? Who will be there tomorrow and after you continue to demean and demoralize America while edifying these hate maddened terrorists? Show America you care. Rescind this decision. Where is the Hope?

In these modern times political conspiracy theories abound. In the absence of facts it seems completely human to speculate and given small amounts of info can cause those speculations to become quite extreme. We are, however, not without information when it comes to the political climate in Washington. We have seen how Obama operates and whom he befriends. Based upon that data alone it was possible to predict how he would govern once elected president. Given a cursory understanding of congress and most anyone could foretell Congress’ actions.

So, at this point it is fair to ask the reader: Who here is surprised by what Obama and the Congress are doing? Only if you should leave a comment will I or the rest of the readers of this blog know your abilities at prognostication. I betting you did well.

The more difficult question is what to do about it. What actions should the average citizen take? I followed the norms and wrote and called everyone from here to Washington at least twice. If my results were like yours I was ignored, talked down to, or otherwise treated with disdain. Even sign toting on the steps of the Congress made little if any difference. And, while all of the polls show that Americans are against Healthcare Reform as it now is, Obama and his drones are steaming full speed ahead to deny American’s their right of representation.

For months Obama administration stated he would not be attending Copenhagen for the Climate talks. Once again, who here believed that? I thought so. In days he will go and indicate his willingness to dole out millions to poor nations because America has grossly destroyed the environment and we should pay. Picking up his Peace Prize will be justified as he will be there for government business. This is predictable yet shocking given the questions on the science that is pushing this effort. Why does everything have to be done NOW? I am sure you already have the answer.

Ok so let me get back to predicting or even better finding out your prophesies. I’ll bet you are going to say something about the 2010 and 2012 elections. Do you think your vote will make the needed difference? Yes? No? I’m not at all sure. People I talk to speak of things I never dreamed I’d hear: states seceding from the union, collapse of the dollar, America becoming a second world nation, one world government, and more. I call these WCS (worst case scenarios). Sadly I expect some of these will happen and none of them sound acceptable to me. Of course even thinking these things make me feel loony.

Holder Gets Black Panther Approval

The new Black Panther party approves of Holder’s dismissal of a case against two of their members for voter intimidation. The new Black Panther leader Shabazz says:

“his group does not condone voter intimidation and suspended the member who stood outside a Philadelphia polling place with a nightstick during last year's presidential election.”

Here is some video of the incident. See for yourself and draw whatever conclusions you see fit.

Now I have to admit that anyone dressed in Para Military attire is bound to get some attention. I remember the original Black Panther party but I really knew little about “the New Black Panther Party”. I visited their website and found it very revealing. I would think that most thinking people would want to know this group and their hopes and dreams. This is their 10 point platform:

1. We want freedom. We want the power to practice self-determination, and to determine the destiny of our community and THE BLACK NATION.
We believe in the spiritual high moral code of our Ancestors. We believe in the truths of the Bible, Quran, and other sacred texts and writings. We believe in MAAT and the principles of NGUZO SABA. We believe that Black People will not be free until we are able to determine our Divine Destiny.
2. We want full employment for our people and we demand the dignity to do for ourselves what we have begged the white man to do for us.
We believe that since the white man has kept us deaf, dumb and blind, and used every “dirty trick” in the book to stand in the way of our freedom and independence, that we should be gainfully employed until such time we can employ and provide for ourselves.
We believe further in: POWER IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE! WEALTH IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE! ARMS IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE!
3. We want tax exemption and an end to robbery of THE BLACK NATION by the CAPITALIST. We want an end to the capitalistic domination of Africa in all of its forms: imperialism, criminal settler colonialism, neo-colonialism, racism, sexism, zionism, Apartheid and artificial borders.
We believe that this wicked racist government has robbed us, and now we are demanding the overdue debt of reparations. A form of reparations was promised 100 years ago (forty acres and a mule) as restitution for the continued genocide of our people and to in meaningful measure and repair the damage for the AFRICAN HOLOCAUST (Maangamizo/Maafa).
We believe our people should be exempt from ALL TAXATION as long as we are deprived of equal justice under the laws of the land and the overdue reparations debt remains unpaid. We will accept payment in fertile and mine rally rich land, precious metals, industry, commerce and currency. As genocide crimes continue, people’s tribunals must be set up to prosecute and to execute.
The “Jews” were given reparations. The Japanese were given reparations. The Black, the Red and the Brown Nations must be given reparations. The American white man owes us reparations. England owes us reparations. France owes us reparations, Spain and all of Europe. Africa owes us reparations and repatriation. The Arabs owe us reparations. The “Jews” owe us reparations. All have taken part in the AFRICAN HOLOCAUST and the slaughter of 600 million of our people over the past 6,000 years in general and 400 year in particular. We know that this is a reasonable and just demand that we make at this time in history.
4. We want decent housing, fit for shelter of human beings, free health-care (preventive and maintenance). We want an end to the trafficking of drugs and to the biological and chemical warfare targeted at our people.
We believe since the white landlords will not give decent housing and quality health care to our Black Community, the he housing, the land, the social, political and economic institutions should be made into independent UUAMAA “New African Communal/Cooperatives” so that our community, with government reparations and aid (until we can do for ourselves) can build and make drug free, decent housing with health facilities for our people.
5. We want education for our people that exposes the true nature of this devilish and decadent American society. We want education that teaches us our true history/herstory and our role in the present day society.
We believe in an educational system that will give our people “a knowledge of self.” If we do not have knowledge of self and of our position in society and the world, then we have little chance to properly relate to anything else.
6. We want all Black Men and Black Women to be exempt from military service.
We believe that Black People should not be forced to fight in the military service to defend a racist government that holds us captive and does not protect us. We will not fight and kill other people of color in the world who, like Black People, are being victimized by the white racist government of America. We will protect ourselves from the force and violence of the racist police and the racist military, “by any means necessary.”
7. We want an immediate end to POLICE HARRASSMENT, BRUTALITY and MURDER of Black People. We want an end to Black-on-Black violence, “snitching,” cooperation and collaboration with the oppressor.
We believe we can end police brutality in our community by organizing Black self-defense groups (Black People’s Militias/Black Liberation Armies) that are dedicated to defending our Black Community from racist, fascist, police/military oppression and brutality. The Second Amendment of white America’s Constitution gives a right to bear arms. We therefore believe that all Black People should unite and form and “African United Front” and arm ourselves for self-defense.
8. We want freedom for all Black Men and Black Women held in international, military, federal, state, county, city jails and prisons.
We believe that all Black People and people of color should be released from the many jails and prisons because they have not received a fair and impartial trial. ‘Released’ means ‘released’ to the lawful authorities of the Black Nation.
9. We want all Black People when brought to trial to be tried in a court by a jury of their peer group or people from their Black Communities, as defined by white law of the Constitution of the United States.
We believe that the courts should follow their own law, if their nature will allow (as stated in their Constitution of the United States) so that Black People will receive fair trials. The 6th Amendment of the United States Constitution gives a man/woman a right to an impartial trial, which has been interpreted to be a “fair” trial by one’s “peer” group. A “peer” is a person from a similar economic, social, religious, geographical, environmental, historical and racial background. To do this, the court will be forced to select a jury from the Black Community from which the Black defendant came. We have been and are being tried by all white juries that have no understanding of the “average reasoning person” of the Black Community.
10. WE DEMAND AN END TO THE RACIST DEATH PENALTY AS IT IS APPLIED TO BLACK AND OPPRESSED PEOPLE IN AMERICA. WE DEMAND FREEDOM FOR ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS OF THE BLACK RED AND BROWN NATION!
We want land, bread, housing, education, clothing, justice and peace. And, as our political objective, we want NATIONAL LIBERATION in a separate state or territory of our own, here or elsewhere, “a liberated zone” (“New Africa” or Africa), and a plebiscite to be held throughout the BLACK NATION in which only we will be allowed to participate for the purposes of determining our will and DIVINE destiny as a people. Obama's "Chief" Problem

One can only speculate why Obama chose West Point to as his podium for his Afghanistan speech. Perhaps he thought it would give him that “Commander in Chief” look. The cadets didn’t seem to see him all that chiefly. Then again why would they. The military have laid everything on the line; a line which seems to move with the whims of Washington. Barak has blamed, delayed, and all but talked the war issue to death. What he did not do in the past months nor again last evening was instill confidence that he can be “Chief”.

A brief look at Obama’s history shows that he is willing to allow the CIA, FBI, and Secret Service take responsibility for Administration actions. He seems unwilling to prosecute any real criminals and will all too easily make Americans the criminals. Last night he telegraphed his punches to the Taliban and told them what to expect and for how long. When you look at the rules of engagement that he has saddled out troops with they are fighting uphill in every direction.

Our soldiers in Afghanistan can’t engage the enemy if civilians are present. They may not conduct searches unannounced nor at night. If they see the enemy, they are not to fire until the enemy engages them. Who in the hell does Obama think he is and what gives him the right to neuter our troops like that.

Chris Matthews said that Obama’s speech was given in the “enemy camp” and went on to comment how lackluster the cadet’s response was to the “O” speech. Duh! Many of these cadets will soon be deployed to fight within these confining rules for a president whom appears is not all that committed to winning.

Everyone knew when Obama was elected that he was short on experience and long on talk. Forty minutes into his speech last night only proved that he can talk long and loud. Perhaps he thought his facial expression and tone of voice would show his resolve. For a community organizer they may just get it done: speak a bunch of hype and hope the crowd gets involved and does the heavy lifting for you. None of the great leaders have ever been talkers. They have been doers. “Commander in Chief” is not a title; it is a responsibility.

Okay so they caught Obama with a copy of GQ featuring himself on the cover. Does that make him vainglorious? Of itself, probably not but his habit of running to the TV camera every-time he has something to say is a bit much. He pardoned a turkey and made and appearance to tell us how committed he is.

Yet, General McCrystal has been waiting months for an answer to his troop request and he can wait just a bit longer so Barak can reveal to the world his long awaited strategy on Tuesday evening during primetime. As I understand it, it will be a 45 minute speech complete with an exit strategy. Perhaps he plans to talk the Taliban and Al Qaeda to death. In the meantime the Brits are looking for their own exit strategy of having lost confidence in America’s prosecution of this war.

Add to this the upcoming Oprah-Obama Christmas special and let the self-aggrandizing behavior abound. Dang. Forgive me if I chuckle out loud just a little at this: “Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special”. This festive soiree will include interview with the president, a conversation with the First Couple and tour of the White House. Oh goodie! We get one of our presents early. Be sure to set your clocks to snooze. All this news comes on the heels of Oprah’s 18 month notice that she will be quitting her show. Perhaps she and Barry will change jobs as she has been so actively involved of late in politics and he in TV.

My dad used to say that Fish and House Guests both begin to stink after 3 days. While not exactly parallel to Barry’s situation I do admit his incessant presence on my TV stinks to high heaven. Barry if you are listening shut up already and do something that helps us. We don’t want to see your face we want to see jobs and smaller government. We want honesty and transparency. We want our freedoms and we want to keep what we earn. We want to be charitable on our own without your dictates and we want to worship God, in public, without shame, legally, and not according to the wacky few. We want a Republic and we want Health Care reform that isn’t loaded with your Socialist agenda.

You know I said we want. Let me rephrase: We insist! We even demand it!

Today is a day for giving thanks and that I will do. I have so much to be thankful for that no brief article could contain it all. Mostly I am thankful for the life and health I have and those that share it with me. I am thankful for my faith in God who makes peace and living possible. For those closest to me I am most thankful that they have chosen to be there and for any willing to call me friend. I am thankful for forgiveness and that I have received so much of it and for the freedom it gives me to keep on trying.

Surely, I cannot but be thankful for the comforts I have and the warmth in my home and for the food on my table. There is nothing that I need and little that I cannot do fine without. Right now my soul and spirit are at peace and there is great joy. I would that my creator would grant that to everyone today yet I know that I too must play a role in that along with all that would call Him Father.

America, I am grateful for you and for all that you mean to me. It is an honor to be called by your name and to live in your bounty. And while there is much that I am concerned about in your future for today I will simply bless your name as tomorrow is another day; one on which I can again take up the fight to maintain the freedoms for our children and theirs. So for today I am at rest, at peace, and so very very thankful.

Obama a Muslim?

On his radio show G. Gordon Liddy stated,

“I’m convinced that despite his protestations to the contrary, that Barack Obama is a Muslim. I don’t believe that he’s a Christian at all. I believe he’s a Muslim.” Former presidential candidate Gary Bauer stated “Well, you know the church that he famously or infamously attended was, was odd in many ways.”

Needless to say, comments like these are sending the Liberals to their keyboards like accounting clerks at tax time. Few comments posted are in support of the Idea that Obama could be a closet Muslim while I suspect that there are many Americans who suspect it. You don’t have to look long to see a pattern of Islamic favoritism in Obama’s behavior.

No sooner than the Senate announced that they intended to investigate Major Nadal Malik Hasan (the Fort Hood Mass Murderer) when Obama ordered them to back away stating that it was too soon to investigate. Initially all the media except Fox News were reluctant to tie this attack to terrorism. Most reasonable people could conclude Hasan was committing Jihad but were encouraged to maintain political correctness. Now even the most liberal of news sources are questioning this mans ties to Al Qaeda. He had multiple email accounts and donated thousands of dollars to militant muslim organizations but many just want to call it “temporary insanity”.

Let’s ignore that Hasan made all those anti-American statements about the Afghan and Iraqi wars and that he wrote dozens of emails to a known Al Qaeda clerica and that he yelled “Allahu Akbar” as he slay the innocent. Let us also ignore that he purchased two guns nicknamed “Cop Killers” for their ability to penetrate body armor and then sneaked them on base. Let’s forget that he gave away his possesions hours before he commited his treacherous acts knowing that he was soon to be in paradise with his virgins. On second thought let’s not forget these things. When did reasonable people loose the ability to think and add up the facts and come up with conclusions? It happened over time when left wingers said we were wrong and harsh in our thinking and we bought into it.

Freudian Slip?

Face it America. About 20% of America is telling the rest of us how we should think, what we should believe, and where we should put our faith. I say it is high time that we think for ourselves and make our decisions accordingly and the speak out for what we believe. Call me loonie but I believe Obama’s fond memories of the Islamic call to prayer run deeper than he wants us to know. His efforts to squelch the truth and to pander to the rights of terrorists are not the thoughts of a PRO AMERICAN president. There. I have said it. Comments welcome.

Obama: Calculating and Controlling

All of us have known someone who is a “Control Freak” and it may be we ourselves. Those who are the Controllers are under the impression that their ideas, methods, and procedures are the best way for things to be seen, done, or avoided. For those who are associated with these controllers, all their time is spent anticipating or being frustrated by the lack of freedom Controllers cause. Whether intended or not, it is extremely unpleasant to want to exercise a personal freedom, an opinion or an idea only to have it squashed by the nay saying of the controller. Even the control freaks freak-out when their ideas are challenged.

I think it would be fair to say that all of us want to control things to some degree dependent upon the situation. It is probably fair to say that we gravitate toward people who allow that freedom and avoid people who wish to control us. To the casual observer the people we choose to associate with or not to associate with may not be all that obvious. This brings me to the point of my article and that is the current style of the Government under Obama is toward control.

Anita Dunn was the White House communications chief until she stepped down on November 10th. In a famous video Anita talked about the Obama machine’s methods to “control the media.” She states:

"So it was very much we controlled it, as opposed to the press controlled it. And it did not always make us popular with the press. But we increasingly by the general election very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control.”

Now aside from her Maoist infatuation she tells us what the Obama administration was and is all about: control. This seems particularly specific to information and Anita and the White House became embroiled in a dispute about Fox News’s rights and legitimacy as a news organization. It appears that since Fox News couldn’t be controlled they had to be castigated.

There is an old saying about how a business gets and keeps its customers. “How you get them is how you keep them.” I think it an apt proverb for what we see as the tactics of this administration. Normally it is used to reflect upon service or quality. If you get your customers by good service you will keep them the same way. Not only is this the way to achieve your past results but to guarantee your future as well. So, if the Obama approach to winning America’s voters was to control the information they receive it is likely that they will continue to do the same. Actually, everything points toward this very thing.

Recently the Democratic Party of congress has gone toward this very same tactic of controlling information by holding secret meetings and locking meeting rooms to all but the chosen few. Even Nancy Pelosi’s recent press conference on Healthcare Reform was an “Invitations Only” event. Republican staffers were expressly excluded yet the guest list included scores of SEIU and Acorn members. Harry Reid went behind closed doors and refused to let the “other side of the aisle” into committee. All of this brings us to a very serious question. What is wrong with truth that would hurt us?

As recently as this morning, Obama has exhorted that Congress should not investigate the “Fort Hood Shootings”. He claims that it is too soon. Too soon for what? For whom? What harm could possibly come from investigating what transpired to allow 13 Americans to die and 30 injured. As an aside that 13 dead doesn’t include the unborn child that that murdered woman was carrying. No one has yet had the courage to call that murder. Ask the expectant father if when his wife was killed did he lose just a wife or a son or daughter as well. A brief Internet search revealed that 4 high profile murders where a mother and unborn child were killed resulted in 2 charges of murder and not one. Why not at Fort Hood? I could only speculate what Obama told Gates to tell the Generals at fort hood.

Someone very famous once said, “You shall know the truth and the truth will make you free.” They are so profound that they are engraved on the U.S. Supreme Court building in D.C. and they come from the one that so many would deny the right to worship him: Jesus.
So I guess you could say that when it comes to “O” I tend to think he is a little freaky…a super freak…when it comes to controlling. As for me I would find someone else’s company more refreshing.

Stupid Is As Stupid Does

I am from the “Show Me” state Missouri. We are known for needing to see the proof and as such we often say show me. A few years ago we elected a dead man to the Senate and I thought I had seen it all. Sure he was well love but when Mel Carnahan died in a plane crash Missourians voted emotionally to re-elect him. His wife was appointed in his stead and I thought I had seen it all. What I have seen on the American political scene in this past year makes electing Mel look sane.

If it were possible to summarize the past year it would take more time than either of us has but I can hit the highlights.

1. We elected a first-term Senator with no executive experience and a sketchy if not abominable past to the highest office in the land. He won’t allow any of his college transcripts be seen, albeit customary, and I know in my heart it is because his class schedule looked like a who’s who in statist philosophy and circumventing the Constitution.

2. We were promised a more transparent government and White House and if anything there is less transparency to everything Congress and the Administration does. Even when the White House release information it is done on their terms and to their drudges.

3. We were promised no more business as usual with pork-barrel projects and wasteful spending only to see:

• $2 billion earmark to re-start FutureGen, a near-zero emissions coal power plant in Illinois that the Department of Energy defunded last year because it said the project was inefficient.
• A $246 million tax break for Hollywood movie producers to buy motion picture film.
• $650 million for the digital television converter box coupon program.
• $88 million for the Coast Guard to design a new polar icebreaker (arctic ship).
• $448 million for constructing the Department of Homeland Security headquarters.
• $248 million for furniture at the new Homeland Security headquarters.
• $600 million to buy hybrid vehicles for federal employees.
• $400 million for the Centers for Disease Control to screen and prevent STD's.
• $1.4 billion for rural waste disposal programs.
• $125 million for the Washington sewer system.
• $150 million for Smithsonian museum facilities.
• $1 billion for the 2010 Census, which has a projected cost overrun of $3 billion.
• $75 million for "smoking cessation activities."
• $200 million for public computer centers at community colleges.
• $75 million for salaries of employees at the FBI.
• $25 million for tribal alcohol and substance abuse reduction.
• $500 million for flood reduction projects on the Mississippi River.
• $10 million to inspect canals in urban areas.
• $6 billion to turn federal buildings into "green" buildings.
• $500 million for state and local fire stations.
• $650 million for wildland fire management on forest service lands.
• $1.2 billion for "youth activities," including youth summer job programs.
• $88 million for renovating the headquarters of the Public Health Service.
• $412 million for CDC buildings and property.
• $500 million for building and repairing National Institutes of Health facilities in Bethesda, Maryland.
• $160 million for "paid volunteers" at the Corporation for National and Community Service.
• $5.5 million for "energy efficiency initiatives" at the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration.
• $850 million for Amtrak.
• $100 million for reducing the hazard of lead-based paint.
• $75 million to construct a "security training" facility for State Department Security officers when they can be trained at existing facilities of other agencies.
• $110 million to the Farm Service Agency to upgrade computer systems.
• $200 million in funding for the lease of alternative energy vehicles for use on military installations.

…and the list goes on and on and on. Of late the Administration has been buying votes in Congress with more Taxpayer dollars and coming up with even more pet projects.

4. We were warned that when the 3 a.m. phone call came in their would be no one in the White House to answer the phone. Ring – ring, ring – ring, ring – ring. Afghanistan, North Korea, Iran, and others are all ringing the phone off the wall not to mention that the American people are suffering.

5. Obama and his administration have installed some of the most misfit, communistic, ultra left leaning liberals to key positions and act surprised that anyone would take offense to them.

6. The new “I will reach across the aisle president” has only done so to slap the other side with insults, innuendo, and partisan remarks.

7. Oh yes. And the president who was to be for all of us cannot hear any of us that disagree with him. Obama has shown himself to be fussy, persnickety, petulant, and of an otherwise thin-skinned nature. No one’s perfect.

8. In the last 10 months Obama has played more golf, campaigned for more Democrats, and visited more monuments than Arnold Palmer, Bill Clinton, and Rick Steves respectively. And, while I can’t be sure of the number I believe Obama has made more TV appearances than Lassie.

9. While promising and failing at that Promise to close Guantanamo Bay Cuba for the detainees, Obama has managed to get 5 of the worst terrorists transferred to America to be tried with all the rights and benefits of American citizens. And I thought the way he behaved in Saudi Arabia and Egypt was inexcusable.

10. Number ten. Every good list has ten items and so shall this one. Obama has recognized that 12 million Americans have lost their jobs so he has a plan. He is going to have a Summit on the subject which is a fancy way to say, “Obama is planning a MEETING to talk about why no one has a friggin’ job”.

Lest I leave you having sounded cynical I would like to leave you on a positive note. Soon our president will be addressing us all again and he wants Congress to make spending cuts a priority. That should leave you laughing until the next time.

No sooner had I penned “Oi Vey” and now Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is demanding that Obama choose between Israel and Iran:

“The support of both Israel and Iran can’t go hand in hand…” according to the Iranian President.

This is the guy our president has hopes of negotiating with. It is hard to tell between “O” and “A” who is the crazier. Obama thinks he can shmooze Ahmadinejad and Mahmoud plans to continue his shtick of “Iran wants just a few more days” to build the bomb… oh, I mean to comply with the world’s wishes.

It would seem that if Israel is waiting on Obama to do something they might as well be waiting for Iran to become their favorite allies. Perhaps they should get in line with General Mc Crystal and those waiting for some support in Afghanistan. That this man would even think to issue such a statement and then expect anything from the civilized world is beyond understanding. Yet, we resist sanctions and blockades as we are expecting Mahmoud to act in good faith.

In the meantime, Iran continues to violate the civil rights of their people and send weapons to anyone who will use them against America or her allies. Just this past week Israel intercepted an arms shipment bound for Palestine. These of course were to help the peace effort and despite that the containers were marked with the Iranian symbols and the ships manifest showed the cargo as Iranian, they deny it.

There is one thing that is undeniable. Israel will not sit by idly forever. They cannot nor will they. They have “everything to lose” and nothing to gain. Think about it.

While I am not Jewish I find it interesting to surf the Israeli newspapers for their perspective on subjects that may be of interest to Americans. Needless to say their coverage of subject is specific to them but those topics of common interest often have information that we never would see in our media. For example how does this headline strike you?

Ahmadinejad to Cancel Food, Fuel subsidies, for transfer to Nuclear Projects
This November 8th headline describes his government reallocating $30-$50 billion dollars to go towards their nuclear ambitions. This was approved by the Iranian parliament. Doesn’t this just encourage the heck out of you that playing nicey nicey with Iran is only hurting American interests. Rahm Emmanuel was to speak to General Assembly of the Jewish Federations as the keynote speaker in D.C. today. Perhaps he should “listen already to what they could tell him”. We are afraid of Sanctions because it might hurt the people that lunatic is starving.

Couple that with the latest Iranian solid fuel rocket, with 10 times the power of their previous Omid 1 rocky. They plan to put a satellite into orbit. Maybe later they can send the bomb as far as Warsaw or launch it from a ship to let’s say… Not let’s not. It will have a range of 2450 kilometers and will be able to support a fair size payload, I mean, satellite.

This with the fact that relations between Obama and Netanyahu aren’t exactly rosy… One Israeli describes Netanyahu’s perspective of America this way:
Netanyahu likes to say that the United States is big and that the Israeli public is mistaken in identifying the American viewpoint only with the president. The true America, Netanyahu says, begins 70 miles west of New York and ends 70 miles east of Los Angeles, and within this enormous space, Israel has millions of loyal supporters.

This writer goes on to point out that Israel’s diplomacy with the American is with a Novice in charge of a Superpower. When you put it that way I suppose Israel may have some serious concerns. We Americans seem to have little or no affect on Obama’s decision making. It is anyone’s guess what Obama may do, or as more often tends to be the case, what Obama won’t do.

Years in the Breaking...

Our government is broken. This should be a news flash but sadly enough it is just a declaration of “Old News”. For years we Americans have known that Congress was inefficient at best and that government in general did not represent the will of the people. Why we didn’t or couldn’t prevent this is the subject of a whole rack of books by pundits but we are still left with the decision of “What Now?”

Pelosi and Obama have now proven that the voice of the people is of no concern. It doesn’t matter how many people call, write, or visit their congressperson; what matters is that political pressure from inside the government will ultimately achieve the government’s goals. It is almost as if the government has morphed into a life form of its own. The Obama administration has shown that it will not respond to nor respect the overwhelming majority of Americans. Don’t bother to show up at the White House or on the steps of Congress because those inside are not listening.

Over the past several months we Americans have had to endure an absolute circus in Washington and to what end. Obama promised that his healthcare would win no matter what and to date he has been proven right. Regardless of the wishes of the Majority, Obama understood that with this congress he could impose his will by a series of political maneuvers. In fairness, he is not the first president to do this. He is just the one who is ignoring us now.

So where does that leave us? Should we, can we, dare we put our hopes in what the Senate does with healthcare or look to the 2010 elections. For me I never want to give up hope but sadly I find difficulty in hoping that liberty will be revived in elections that will return incumbents to Washington to ruin what fresh blood we are able to elect. I think all conservatives believe it is time for a good housecleaning in congress but I also think that it is unrealistic to expect it.

Last night as I lay awake thinking I realized that I am old enough to be long dead before the worst of runaway government can get me. As for my children and grandchildren I think they will see the brunt of it. The very thought of that has been the fuel of my political engine. Yet when I speak to my children about the dangers of this Administration, they are no more interested in the process nor informed about it than I was 20 years ago. It is their sense of “everything will be fine” and “I am too busy” and “I don’t know what to do” that makes the current tyrannical government actions possible. Surely Thomas Jefferson was right when he said that we citizens

“are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, that to right them…”

Jefferson went on to explain that government shouldn’t be changed until it reaches “absolute Despotism”. While “despotism” could elicit different definitions, this would be mine:

a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator, not restricted by a constitution, laws or opposition.

As such, I suppose every American will reach their own conclusions as to when and if the government is a problem and how severe. May God bless Americans.

When Pigs Fly

If you would have asked me when New Jersey was going to elect a conservative I would have told you “when pigs fly”. No this is not a reference to Chris Christie’s size though Corzine alluded to Christie’s girth. Now I find that as I watch the election returns some flying pigs are giving me hope. Virginia has already had a triple header with 3 conservative republicans elected and now it appears that New Jersey will surely have one also. I am sure to have to go to bed before the NY23rd race ends. I think I will go to bed with flying swine.

You have to admit that you just need something to hope for in these times. As reported by Susan Ferrechio in the Washington Examiner:

The $787 billion stimulus bill was passed in February and was promised as a job saver and economy booster. Here is where some of the money went:
- $300,000 for a GPS-equipped helicopter to hunt for radioactive rabbit droppings at the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state.
- $30 million for a spring training baseball complex for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies.
- $11 million for Microsoft to build a bridge connecting its two headquarter campuses in Redmond, Wash., which are separated by a highway.
- $430,000 to repair a bridge in Iowa County, Wis., that carries 10 or fewer cars per day.
- $800,000 for the John Murtha Airport in Johnstown, Pa., serving about 20 passengers per day, to build a backup runway.
- $219,000 for Syracuse University to study the sex lives of freshmen women.

- $462,000 to purchase 22 concrete toilets for use in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri
- $3.1 million to transform a canal barge into a floating museum that will travel the Erie Canal in New York state.
- $1.3 million on government arts jobs in Maine, including $30,000 for basket makers, $20,000 for storytelling and $12,500 for a music festival.
- $71,000 for a hybrid car to be used by student drivers in Colchester, Vt., as well as a plug-in hybrid for town workers decked out with a sign touting the vehicle's energy efficiency.
- $1 million for Portland, Ore., to replace 100 aging bike lockers and build a garage that would house 250 bicycles.

Amazed

When you get right down to it keeping up with the Political Landscape in America is absolutely boring to a great many. Unless you are a political science major or one of the few people who are inexplicably drawn with every fiber of their being to the latest news, it is just not all that interesting. If you are a blogger you stand a better chance at an audience if you offer some advice on designing twitter backgrounds or a better way to get gum out of hair.

Once again, I have had to come to the hard realization that a great deal of Americans are not now, nor soon likely to become interested in Obama and his radical regime. Thomas Jefferson wrote some 230 years ago “…that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves…” and not much has changed. I heard another version of Jefferson’s wisdom years ago that went like this, “the pain that we feel is preferred to the pain that we fear”. In essence it seems that humans will tolerate much to avoid risking worse.

Having spent my complete existence studying human behavior, religion, philosophy and the like I continue to be amazed by above mentioned phenomenon. Still, there is that “flashpoint” just when oil becomes hot enough to the instantly burst into flames and a similar one for humans when they will rise to their feet an rebel against tyranny. While I see a great many Americans seriously concerned about the troubles of the days, I see a vast group that are so absorbed by their day to day lives that they cannot smell the smoke nor feel the heat of the flames engulfing them.

Recently I had the chance to ask some family members about what they thought of the State of the Union and what they knew about current important issues. Well there seemed to be little knowledge about what was going on and not any real concern that anything was all that amiss. My attempts to draw attention to issues of concern seemed to do more to prove my insanity than to educate. I believe that I may have actually caused them to question the validity of what I was trying to say. Fair enough. Declaring that you think Obama has full intentions to remake this nation into something of his choosing does sound a bit extreme. Still, I was left with the impression that whatever happened would be fine and did not merit them looking into it.

Needless to say I walked away from that conversation less that gratified and even a little offended that my opinion carried so little weight. I hadn’t be push or sanctimonious and tried to present fact with verifiable sources. Yet, I failed to make any noticeable difference and do not expect that they will be of any help on Election Day. But, do not misunderstand. I don’t think these folks abnormal but rather quite normal. The storm troopers boots will have to hit their front porches before they sound the alarm; if even then. As for me, I continue on: amazed.

Sorry Kids. Grandpa didn't know.

The good news is that I have a new grandson. The bad news is that I haven’t a clue what kind of America he is going to grow up in. This latest grandson gives me a total of three. Selfishly I would love for them to have the same opportunities that I’ve had and that their dads have had. While there are no guarantees in life it is right for me to have these concerns. As of this moment my grandsons each owe $38,704.00 to the national debt. The three of them owe collectively nearly $120,000.00 and that is assuming they all have ordinary futures. God forbid one of them is financially successful for then their debt grows exponentially. It just isn't within me to hope my grandsons will be less than the most they can be.

It just seems that there ought to be something I could do as “Grandpa” that would help their future. I put away a little they might wind up with if I am not forced into spending it. I call, write, email, and fax every Senator and Representative for our state and even to some other states. I encourage, exhort, reassure and praise whenever possible. Of late I find I urge, push, plead, and all but threaten. Neither seems to make much difference. What I get back are dispassionate generic letters of why they voted the way they did and how my thinking should be if I were “right minded” like they are.

I have blogged and tea bagged, donated and whined, called talk radio and even talk in my sleep. Still I am right back where I started: I need help. If I am to preserve the Great America that I’ve so loved for my grandkids I need your help. And, if you are anything like me you know that you need my help to. Now dammit, how do we get 50 million Americans to jump up all at once and say “I have had it with Washington, Obama and the lot of them and I am not going to take it anymore”?

November of 2010 seems as far off to me as when I was 15 wanting to be 16 so I could drive a car. It is always that way when you are passionate about something: it just can’t come fast enough. I was that way when each of my sons told me that they were getting married and again when they said I’d be grandpa again. With my last breath I suspect I will be passionate about them still. To them I pledge my allegiance as I do to the Flag of these United States called America, and to the Republic for which it stands, One Nation, Under GOD, Indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all, even the unborn.

Well grandkids of America. While I was writing this letter asking for help, America’s bureaucrats spent another $273,000,000.00 (273 million dollars) from your piggy banks. For every minute that passes we are spending 26 million dollars (1 minute = $26,000,000.00) of your future. I am sorry kids but grandpa just doesn’t know how to solve problems like this.
