Section 8 Housing Frenzy

How often have you heard that a picture is worth a thousand words. (Click on the Photo to enlarge it.) According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution over 30,000 people lined up to get a chance at federally subsidized housing. Look carefully at this photo from that same source and tell me just exactly what have we done to this country?

Supposedly riot police were needed to control the crowd. Heat and violence took its toll on more than 60 people and all that was being handed out was the chance to be put on a list for housing if it opened up. Here is a portion of that AJC article:

Some of the crowd waited for two days at the Tri-Cities Plaza shopping center. As the temperature rose Wednesday, people fell ill.

Sgt. Cliff Chandler, spokesman for the East Point Police Department, said a toddler was treated earlier in the morning for "some type of seizure," Chandler said.

"A lot of it was heat and some was health-related issues" such people not taking their medications, Chandler said.

By the time everyone had left around 2 p.m., the temperature had climbed into the low 90s.

East Point police, some wearing riot helmets, were patrolling the area. Firefighters and EMTs were attending to people who were overheating in the sun. Police from College Park, Hapeville, Fulton County and MARTA assisted in crowd control.

Chandler said there were no arrests.

Felecia McGhee told the AJC she arrived around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. She said the major problem began when people started breaking into the line and then officials handing out applications started moving those areas and those line breakers. She said she saw at least two small children trampled when the crowd rushed the building where the applications were to be handed out.

"It's a real mess out here," she said.

Channel 2 Action News reporter Mike Petchenik said fights were breaking out and police had to stop people who were storming the door.

Channel 2 reporter Tom Jones said, “There are thousands, I mean, thousands of people here. I’ve seen people fall out from the heat.”

By late morning the crowd had thinned considerably and people were walking up and getting their applications without delay. But just before the 1 p.m. deadline, a line of about 200 people had formed. Shortly after 1 p.m., several people ran across the parking lot to get in line but were told by police that the line was closed.

Just today Fox News’ web site had an article about the chaos in Greece with a headline “Could the U.S. be Next?” Also today my sister-in-law was astounded to find out that the Rev. Franklin Graham was not allowed at the pentagon prayer service. She doesn’t have cable and heard the news about Rev. Graham on the Focus on the Family radio broadcast. As I consider these 2 separate events I realize the disconnect in America is huge. Some mainstream media have been tugging at the heart strings for the Times Square bomber because he never realized the American dream. Nashville is under 10 feet of water as are numerous counties and nothing is on the news. BP and the oil spill are all over the news but the Administration’s slow response time goes almost without mention and a man stabs a bus driver to death while the bus is en route.

Considering this first paragraph I would say we are well on the way to the violence in Greece. Today I watched video of Mexican students in California snatching flag from a handicapped man in a wheelchair. I think it was a Mexican flag but a from a guy in a wheelchair. I read that the kids who were sent home from school for wearing patriotic colors received and apology from the principal. Too bad they were advised to stay home from school for fear of violence from the Latino kids. Oh yes. Two of the kids are half Mexican.

So let me summarize. The dollar is falling faster the Twin Towers of NYC on 9/11 and the stock market graph looks like a heartbeat on life support. A Christian preacher is not welcome to pray at the Pentagon because some Muslims don’t like his message and the MSM was hoping that the Time Square bombing incident was a Tea Party member. Add to that the people of Tennessee are suffering big time and none of them have flood insurance because they aren’t even in a flood plain. No news here folks. Move on. While I haven’t heard why the guy stabbed the city bus driver. I can’t wait to see the coverage of that because you sure as heck aren’t going to see any coverage of Mexican kids molesting a handicapped guy.

Perhaps by next week the Patriotic kids can return to their school. Too bad that what they will be taught will be some half truths and history redacted for convenience sake.
In answer to Fox News’ question I think it needs no answer. I think it was purely rhetorical as they see it coming plain as day. Yep. The conservatives will get the blame but the liberals have already started the violence, just no one is covering it. By the way, though no one is talking much about it the government just took over the Internet. They will say it isn’t so. Blog while you can because freedom of speech is about to become an historic concept.

The Obama Plan is Working: Frustrate and Enrage

On the 4th of August, 2009 I wrote that it was the policy of the Obama Administration to “Discredit, Divide, and Attack Americans Personally”. I said that Obama hoped Americans would ratchet up their efforts. They are doing just that. Some town halls are being held with rules designed to silence the voices of ordinary Americans and they are becoming angry. Arrests are being made and citizens are being locked out of public meetings. This is the goal of Obama. Remember, Obama is a community organizer. He is not skilled in governing. His background is breaking the will of people. Here is a headline from today.

White House Vows to Defend Democrats on Health Reform, Will 'Punch Back Twice as Hard'
WASHINGTON -- Top White House officials counseled Democratic senators Thursday on coping with disruptions at public events on health care this summer, officials said, and promised the party and allies would respond with twice the force if any individual lawmaker is criticized in television advertising.

These officials also told skittish senators that fresh polling suggests an emphasis on issues such as barring insurers from denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing medical conditions is a political winner, able to increase support among independents, women, seniors and rural voters.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity, saying they were not authorized to discuss details of the closed-door session that took place hours before lawmakers headed to their home states for a month long vacation.





Do not be deceived. These things are all part of Obama’s plan. Have you seen or heard of one effort by his administration to reconcile with anyone that disagrees with him? Obama does not negotiate; He tramples. No dissenting voices are considered legitimate. If you don’t agree, you must be part of the unruly mobs.
According to Obama’s Community Organizing philosophy, he is willing “to watch society descend into utter chaos and anarchy.“



In order for Conservative America to have any chance to triumph over this dictator we must change our strategy. We must outwit them and use their own Trojan horses filled with “kool-aid free” conservatives. WE CANNOT SHOUT them down from outside. We must overwhelm them from inside. We have to get into the meetings first. There we stand a chance to reason with our representatives. From without, we will lose.
