For Sale: Brookly Bridge - Good Condition

…and as soon as I sell you the Brooklyn Bridge I‘m going to convince you that the Whitehouse did nothing wrong in their dealings with congressman Joe Sestak. The Obama folks put out a story today that stinks worse than unwelcome house guests. The way the Whitehouse spins this yarn is to say that Bill Clinton was to speak to Joe at the request of Rahm Emmanuel about a job that paid nothing. To get this great job for nothing all he had to do was “nothing”. Actually he had to drop out of the Senate race in Pennsylvania so good ole Arlen Specter could run uncontested. Yes, for dropping out of the Senate race he would get this wonderful job as an advisor on an intelligence board. Excuse me. You couldn’t be very “Intelligent” to take that deal. So here we have the Obama folks taking two for dupes: Sestak and the rest of America.

Needless to say the Republicans are calling for an Independent investigation of the matter. Seems they don’t think that this story passes the “smell test”. Who knows whether they will get it and while we may never know the whole truth, or in Obama’s case any of the truth, it is just impossible to think that good ole Bill Clinton had a harmless conversation with Joe and that’s that. Even if old Bill had that conversation with Joe, what do you think it cost old Barry to get him to do it? I’d say there had to be a whole lot of groveling going on. Add to this the odd coincidence that this is the second time Obama has been associated with political bribery. It almost makes one think that old Rob Blagojevich might just have been really making a deal with someone in Obama’s camp. Rahm was always suspect in that deal.

It also seemed real convenient that the Whitehouse released their tale while Barry was off to the gulf. I am sure that seeing the devastation will help him get perspective on his failings over the last month. Oh well, vacation time again so it is off to Chicago. The president needs to recharge his Chicagoland connections and after all it is his Mecca. I shouldn’t be so sarcastic but our past America loving presidents spent Memorial Day honoring our fallen at Arlington. Perhaps while he is in Chicago he can attend services at his old church. They still think that Christianity is the tool the White Man used to enslave them.

Something else that needs selling and that is how bad Arizona’s new law is. True to his word for once ole Barry has got the Department of Justice telling the Arizonan government how concerned they are with this law. Forgive me if I am wrong but you don’t sick your dogs on Arizona but you would challenge their law in court. Of course they can’t do that because they would get their butts kicked. So they send in the legal eagles to try and scare Arizona into being more afraid of the Government than the drug cartels. After all, the DOJ has the full support of the President of Mexico.

So about that bridge I have for sale…

“Please. Do go on!”

Today I received a wonderful invitation from my Congressman, Russ Carnahan. He wants me to attend a “telephone town-hall”. Hah! Get outta here. What the hell is a “telephone town-hall”? The best I can tell it is just another way to keep me as a nameless no count, some kind of virtual meeting where I “virtually” don’t matter. Sure Russ. I would love to sit on hold while you talk down to me yet again of your freakish liberal agenda.

The last time this jerk was in town Kenneth Gladney got mugged by SEIU members outside Russ’s town hall. He filled the meeting with invitees from SEIU and ACORN and then locked and guarded the doors to his real constituents. Like most politicians these days they think they are astute and we are the ignorant masses. Well, this ignorant mass is listened out. “But do go on!”

I am even bored of the constant appeals for money from all of these newly formed groups claiming to represent me. For one price they will mail my “Priority” letter or hand deliver it to my congressman’s office. Duh! All my communications to my government are treated with equal indifference. Still many Americans fear that we will lose a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people”. I propose that that has already happened. The question is not whether we have lost it but rather how to get it back. With a President like Obama and a Congress of like minded elitists we can assume nothing but the worst.

To my recollection neither he nor his congress has represented “We the People” since taking office. Is that taxation without representation? Anyway, I think it is totally possible for Americans to retake their government. In my thinking we must no longer trust their words but must hold them accountable for their actions and not in a beholding way. We need to become “Soup Nazis” for government change. “You vote for O’bully-Care no reelection for you. Get out. Don’t come back.” (said in my best soup nazi accent) Perhaps that is language they can understand.

But be prepared for the long haul. Barack O’Bully and his gangster goons know how to wait us out. They have prepared their whole lives to seize the power they now behold and they will not go gently. As for me I'm for a one-term, biggest loser, shamefully remembered Barack Hussein Obama. He came seeking to destroy the American way and tasted the bile of an indignant people. May his legacy be that of the Sh.. he stirred.

The Stars Align for Obama

Every once in a while the stars align just perfectly and we get a government filled with bureaucrats united in a common goal. To me they look like sperm cells. They all wag their tails hoping to be the one that gets the nod. This is one of those times. Congress, the administration, and the president are all together for the common goal: themselves.

It is during these times that we are reminded of how good it was in the olden days; back when the constitution was viable and there were 3 branches of government. If we would have known then what we know now we would have held Barack’s feet closer to the fire until he told the truth. As it is we now have a president that went from birth to the congress with nothing of interest in between.

True. He did have those friendships with has-been SDS organizers and bomb makers but that was of little interest to much of America. Yes, you are right he did sit for 20 years in a church that believes that Christianity is a tool of the white man (can I say white man) to keep the black man down. While attending that church they gave their lifetime achievement award to Louis Farrakhan. Yes the Louis who believes that white people are not in fact “human” but have the hope of becoming human. Doubtless Obama came away without any of these things being of interest to the voters.

I remember it so well. To consider these times was to judge guilt by association. Oh well. Like dad always said. “Son you have no business hanging out ‘til 4 in the morning. All that’s out there is pimps and prostitutes. You ain’t the one boy and you don’t need the other.” He always said wise things even if he somehow made them common as clay. He was right, but I digress.

Fortunately, Oprah proclaimed Obama as “The One” and made the whole thing possible. Oprah has that golden touch you know. Now it is completely possible for our country to be formed into something entirely different without us having to say anything. In fact, we are not supposed to say anything. We should just take the pill they give us and go “sleepy sleepy”.

When you awaken there will be this brand new government: A government “of the government”, ‘by the government”, and “for the government”. Of course we could all stand up at once and say NO.
